These guy make their own amazing desserts, their own limoncello, their own infusions, but with none of the pretense that often accompanies a place this innovative. Their chocolate rimmed martini is something to behold, they pour a killer sazerac, and have a few different absinthes to try. I just love this place. My occasional visits to Portland will always include... More

We were looking for something sweet so our hotel suggested this little gem. They even gave us a ride there on the free shuttle. It's a small place with a fantastic dessert menu and drink menu. I'm not much of a martini drinker but couldn't turn down the chocolate martini with chocolate around the rim. It was so good. I... More

If you want a strong martini that is incredibly delicious COME HERE. this is a great little place that it tucked away. The cake they had was amazing the frosting was really good, and wasn't that silly fluffy icing stuff. Great place to end the night with some friends.

The atmosphere was perfect, the bar tender was friendly, and oh the martinis! I don't typically drink martini mixes. They are strong and don't do it for me. Well, I was wrong! These are amazing. The Irish coffee and mocha martini hit the spot. Great place to stop in for a drink and some tapas.

We went here after dinner for some dessert. Though they no longer had the cake that I wanted :-(, I had the Carrot Cake instead. Simply delicious! Also had some wine that was refreshing. Wish the cakes didn't have a bunch of nuts, but well worth the stop. A little difficult to find but worth trying to! The staff was... More

What a amazing local find, in a wonderful location of a old wharf fish cold storage building. Locally owed and homemade desserts and martinis. The Mocha Chocolate martini was over the top Choco-luscious, w/hot fudged finely ground espresso rimmed glass...wow! Others in our party had a peanut infused vodka ( homemade), chocolate martini w/ a peanut butter/ chocolate truffle at... More

Decided to come here for desert since that's all they have! We wanted to have cheesecake and they only had 2 different kinds. They have a lot of chocolate cakes though and other deserts! My husband ordered the Irish Coffee martini and I ordered the peanut butter martini. You could smell the coffee and peanut butter well but it was... More

Bar of Chocolate is the first place that comes to mind when later in an evening someone asks "where can we get a great martini" AND the desserts are incredible. It's usually packed, but be patient and a seat will open for you. The menu is concise, well written, has good descriptors. I would only ask, as I usually do,... More

We stopped here late afternoon on a Saturday. A cute place. The bartender working did not seem terribly happy, but I think our bubbly personalities brought her around by the end of our stay. The Mocha Martini was fantastic. Cosmo was good too. A nice respite in the middle afternoon to keep the fun moving along and get us ready... More
