YUMMY

Stopped here based on a recommendation from the girls at the front desk of our hotel. Awesome drinks, competent bartender, and amazing cake. A must stop if you have a sweet tooth!

My party of four stopped here for dessert following a harbor cruise. The cafe is very cozy and very trendy. It is an excellent spot for dessert and/or drinks. The Chocolate Martini is amazing and the flour less chocolate peanut butter cake that my friend had looked wonderful. As soon as we walked in, we knew the place must be... More

This is a bar that sells desserts. It is on a small back street that was closed to traffic. Our GPS was trying to guide us there, and we had to go around several blocks and park then walk. Once you know that, you are set! We asked the waiter for suggestions. My husband ordered a chocolate martini and I... More

We were just looking for a simple glass of wine and discovered what we thought to be a cool bar. Unfortunately the bartender - not only was he racist against Canadians and French people he had a terrible and negative attitude. Lastly, the wine was stale even though the bartender said he goes through 'tons' of it! Very dissatisfied and... More

I just turned 21 a week before our trip and I'm so glad I did or else I wouldn't have been allowed in! The chocolate cake with sea salt Carmel icing was amazing. This place is tucked away on a street you can't drive down so make sure you walk by and stop in after 4pm to buy a drink... More

We saved dessert for a visit to The Bar of Chocolate for some sweets and a martini. Definitely try the chocolate and peanut butter martini! OMG

We found Bar of Chocolate online and I knew my chocolate loving wife would have to stop by, I'm glad we did. We were in soon after opening on a Monday evening I believe. Not very busy, only one bartender/server at that time. He was easily able to manage the 2 tables and couple of bar patrons as well as... More

A small dim place that offers a selection of rich and decadent deserts, and a selection rich drinks, like an espresso martini. A few things to know. They do not serve deserts to go. They want you to stay and have a $9 cocktail. I had blueberry pie, it was okay, the whipped cream was fresh made with a hint... More

As stated by the name - this is a Bar of Chocolate - great desserts with decent portions. We tried one of their Peanut Butter Martinis, but for us the taste of the caramel & peanut butter liqueur overpowered the drink. So, would definitely go for the desserts, not so much the specialty cocktails.
