Great southern food!

Had dinner here ,came early for happy hour - $1 oysters , which were clean fresh bluepoints from CT. Washed those down with some well made cocktails from a very personable bartender. Tried the pimento cheese appetizer which was better than anything i've had in Memphis. For entree had the pork belly... read more

Stopped here recently for breakfast while in Portland, ME. It was very crowded - we had to wait about 1/2 hour to get seated, but it was well worth it. Breakfast cocktails were a nice treat. Do try to get their breakfast sausage as it was one of the best that I have ever had. Their waffle was yummy also,... More

Lots of reviews - but I will summarize it - don't forget to check the chalkboard up high in the dining room for their specials. Also, be a little adventurous and try something unique that you have not had before - you will be impressed! We were here for breakfast - I had a special, which was their banana bread... More

The servers were very nice and gave us good information. The food that we got was great but there were lots of extra charges like for maple syrup for $2. Also they did not let us substitute meat for something else. I suggest that you go here but be prepared for extra charges and low flexibility.

Went here for breakfast. Really had high hopes bases in reviews but was disappointed. Everything needed seasoning and tasted bland. I guess I know why there was so many bottles of different hot sauce in the table...Hash browns had no taste, corn beef hash was greasy and bland. I would try it again but PLEASE add some seasoning!

off the beaten track and from the outside looks are misleading. the quality and variety was excellent. park on the front, not in the lot behind the building.

Maple latte = heaven. Went to this restaurant for breakfast - it was awesome. Good food, good vibe, colorful, fun place. This was a recommendation from a local and it was worth the wait. In fact, they texted us when it was time to come back for our table since they don't have much of a waiting area. The place... More

I'd walk a mile for their grits!! It's absolutely the best I have ever had, and I grew up in the south. Although I've not yet been there for supper, the breakfast, brunch, and lunches are great. At this time of year, I prefer to eat outdoors in the patio. Peaceful and pleasant. The staff here is wonderful.

We went to Hot Suppa for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Great service, very good food (loved the oyster po boy - the biggest one I've ever seen) and loved the special iced tea. Amazing value for Portland.

We visited for a birthday dinner. Hot Suppa! had long been on my bucket list of Portland restaurants to try out. We arrived before six o'clock so we still were able to take advantage of Happy Hour's $1 oysters and $1 off all drinks. The oysters were clean and beautiful, accompanied by a cocktail sauce that included fresh grated horseradish.... More
