Excellent food, for Saturday lunch there was a 45 min wait (says something about the food) was high reasonable prices. Would definitely go there again

We decided to try this restaurant for breakfast despite it's name. It was wonderful. The Corned beef hash was one of the best I have ever had. The poached eggs were perfect and hash brown potatoes were great. We looked at the dinner menu and I am looking forward to giving it a try some evening soon. It is a... More

I have visited many restaurants and my customer service experience at this one was unique. Two of us arrived at 1:25 and there were three parties waiting. We were told if a table didn't open up by 2 we would not be seated. No warm, hello, how are you, but a "we may or may not serve you." I was... More

We've never had a bad meal at Hot Suppa, but the service really leaves a lot to be desired. Either some parties paid off the hostess to get seated more quickly, or hipsters get preferred seating over families with kids (I guess hipsters must not reproduce). Our waitress forgot about us (although thankfully not until after delivering our food), and... More

I came here twice for breakfast during my recent trip and I wish I went more! I first got the bacon waffle and home fries which were so yummy. The second time for breakfast I got french toast with home fries. I really loved the home fries. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy both times because he liked them... More

I have lived in Portland for a year and have tried numerous restaurants, when I have company from out of town, this is the place I take them, amazing food and great staff. Try the grits and fried green tomato benedict with a spicy bloody Mary. You swear you died and went to heaven :)

I met here with a friend for breakfast mid-week. There was a short wait, which is typical. I've been many times before, though it had been some time for her. We had coffee and both ordered the eggs benedict with fried green tomato, with hashbrowns. At $36- including tip, its slightly steep for a breakfast joint. But the food is... More

I've been here several times for brunch and it is so good! It's very small but the most I've had to wait was 15 minutes. Even if I had to wait longer it would be worth it!

I met a friend there for brunch - she is a regular and loves it so much she said it's where she'd have her "last supper." We had a 40 min wait on a Sunday morning. She recommended the Bloody Mary and corned beef hash so i went with her suggestions. I'm don't typically like a Bloody Mary made with... More

I was looking for something unique and new (to me) in Portland, Maine. After reading reviews, I headed to, "Hot Suppa" and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the pulled pork plate with fries and beans. The pork was amazingly moist and tender with just enough crunchy bark. The homemade sweet/spicy chipotle BBQ sauce was amazing. The Rogue Brewery, Hazelnut Brown... More
