What a gem, and worth the wait. We went for brunch and had a 45 min wait, but it was worth it! I have to admit that the grits and bacon waffles were what drew me to suggest trying it. Wow, no disappointment!!!! We had a delightful meal on the patio. The menu was creative and really well executed. Definitely... More

Went here recently for breakfast. Got the waffle with bacon. By far the best waffle I have had in a long time. We also got the corned beef hash. Also very good. Restaurant is small, as are a lot in Portland, so plan on waiting. Well worth it though. Will go back on our next trip to Portland. Maybe try... More

I went to Hot Suppa for breakfast, expecting something yummy based on the reviews, but it was pretty ordinary. Coffee was not good. Eggs were ok but pricey for just 2 plain eggs and toast. Service was good! But for a diner, you could do better in Portland.

I've been to Hot Suppa many times.... but most often for breakfast or lunch. On this occasion, two friends and I went for dinner on an impromptu visit. I had heard their dinners were decent, so I wanted to give it a shot. The first thing I noticed was that their staff were all faces that I did not recognize... More

A long wait but worth it. Small place. Food was very good. I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and a side of fried green tomatoes. The later one were delicious.

My DH and I recently had an early Saturday lunch at Hot Suppa. I'm quite certain they continue serving breakfast until 2 pm. The daily twist on an Eggs Benedict looked tasty. My Fried Green Tomato BLT with Spinach/Garlic side was yummy. I did sort of miss the red tomato though. Both types of tomato would be good. My DH... More

Our breakfast research led us here and we we were definitely not disappointed. Very cute place. Loved the menu. Food was wonderful ... Egg Benedict, hash, Bloody Mary's and mimosas. Place is not big. You may have to wait but totally worth it,

Decided to go out to eat before running errands and this was the spot we picked. We waited a little bit since it is a small place but it was so good. I tried their bloody Mary which was very good and spicy. For brunch I got eggs benedict and it was delicious. The corn bread I got on the... More

FOOD - Excellent food, creative dishes that really work. We had the best corned beef hash of our lives and the grits were yummy. My son ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict and they were delicious. Plethora of drink options, we enjoyed the iced coffee, & Ghiradelli chocolate milk. SERVICE - The wait for Sunday brunch is typically long. It was... More

Had a delicious breakfast of waffles and bacon served with some Maine syrup. The servers were all friendly and the place had a vibe to it.
