This small restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff, and the meal was absolutely worthy of the outstanding recommendation. We ate breakfast here two mornings and everything was wonderful…from the staff to the food. Eggs Benedict prepared to perfection; fresh fruit flavorful; coffee steaming hot; light waffle with fresh maple syrup; grits topped with cheese as good as the South.... More

What a gem in Portland. We had to wait for about 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. We were able to get some hot coffee while we waited, and then the staff was good about refilling. I had a special - sweet potato, bacon and kale hash which was outstanding and my husband had the corned... More

Food was fresh and service was slow. When ordering an omlette or scramble you have to tell the waitress every item and it is an additional dollar for every item. I think the passion of cooking is here just not a real focus or direction on quality of food. I will pay more if food was awesome, but it fails... More

than to order New Orleans food outside of New Orleans. I had the oyster poor boy and the collard greens and both were awful. The service was very good, though.

what an amazing meal! Rice, beans, pork and fried eggs. I couldn't have been happier. the space is small, but we were there later in the morning, so it wasn't an issue. super cute decor and friendly wait staff.

This place has a great breakfast. My type of place. Very cozy and urban. The food is very good... Especially the cheesy grits. I would go again. Just beware they don't take reservations and the wait is very long on the weekend.

Every time we come to Portland Maine, we head to Hot Suppa for Breakfast. They have fried green tomatoes eggs Benedict which rocked. Don't miss out on their Geechie Boy grits and maple latte. The food is southern style Bistro. Great Service and Patio was pleasant.

We enjoyed brunch here in the patio area behind the restaurant. The patio could be nicer, but since the weather cooperated, we enjoyed it nonetheless. My BBQ pork breakfast sandwich with egg was different, and good. My wife loved her omelet.

My husband and I went to Hot Suppa for breakfast. I ordered the fruit plate, which came with maple yogurt and granola. The ample variety of fruit included fresh sliced bananas, grapefruit, orange, pineapple, apple, and red grapes. I was very satisfied with my meal. The one thing that could be better would be to have a little more yogurt... More

Our new Portland brunch go-to; it's adorable, colorful, bright, and cozy. The staff is always super sweet and the food is delicious with good portions. I always get the fried green tomato eggs benedict, but I hear the canadian bacon one is delicious as well. They give you three slices of fried green tomatoes instead of two, I don't know... More
