This week I've got a chance to celebrate a father-in-law birthday in such a nice and hospitable place (he was there before for a restaurant week and loved it!). We had a company of four and liked everything from the interior, full of ictures with Portland views to a quick and friendly sevice and, of course, delicious meals. We had... More

This place is full shortly after they open and stays full. Great egg sandwiches and omlets. The service is spotty but very cheerful.

The bloody mary is fantastic. It is not for the weak of heart but if you like spice this is perfect. Small place that is very nice so expect a wait (even in winter, which is rough).

We had supper here early in March. Arrived at 5:30 and had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Great crowd for a Tuesday night in March. My kids both had chicken and waffles and enjoyed them very much. My wife ordered the hen and dumplings. She thought the flavour was good but found the little hen pieces got a... More

Recommended to have breakfast by a local! Make this a must do. Bloody Mary's are well known to be the best for a reason. Corned beef hash sooooo good! Huge portion to share with the table. Fried green tomato Eggs Benny was on point. Staff friendly accommodating and truly make you feel like they are glad your there. Can't say... More

This is BY FAR the best brunch option in Portland, Maine (and we have quite a few great spots). With options like bennies, fresh hash, cheesy grits cooked to perfection, and occasional specials to include gluten free banana bread french toast you will NOT be disappointed! Their bloody mary's are SPICY (not my favorite) but they do have many other... More

Despite usually having to wait quite a bit we never regret our decision to brunch here. The brunch menu is great, I usually stick to eggs, sausage and hash browns, maybe a waffle- all delicious. They also have great bagels and spicy bloody mary's.

I went out with my cousin for the $1 oyster happy hour, ordered and ate. We looked at the menu again and ordered meals because the food sounded so good. We were not disappointed. THe drinks were very tasty as well.

We got here at 8:15am on a Saturday and were seated right away, but the place quickly filled up and there was a large crowd waiting before 9! Food and service were both good. Biscuits and gravy were delicious and the waffle was very tasty as well. We also loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed taking in the beautiful artwork... More
