Try Hot Suppa for dinner!

Hot Suppa is very crowded for breakfast and, while our breakfast was fine, our supper the night before was better. We got there around 7pm, did not have to wait for a table (unlike breakfast where we waited 30 minutes), and had a delicious meal. My boyfriend had a fried catfish sandwich which he... read more

This place is on the smaller side but has many booths and great coffee. The eggs bennie with Canadian bacon was some of the best i have had! Instead of home fries they have hash browns a nice change. Fresh fruit included which is always nice after breakfast.

We stayed in Portland one night and had many people suggest this diner for breakfast. It is a small local diner and you may need to wait for a table but it's worth it. Inexpensive and good food, with a nice wait staff.

The blueberry pancakes were totally out of this world, nice and fluffy, with so many juicy berries inside. The coffee is outrageously good also.

Second time in Maine and second time back to Hot Suppa. After two brunches and a dinner here I can safely say this place is awesome. The atmosphere here is very chill and just makes you feel at home, and the walls are full of local featured artists. The eggs benedict are delicious and if you add the pulled pork,... More

We had a group of 8 and we all tried each other's food. There was nothing that we didn't love or wouldn't order again. We had a couple young kids in the group that were not super happy with their meals, but that is because everything was extremely flavorful and not the typical "kid's meal." Overall the food was simply... More

Felt like a quintessential American breakfast cafe. Food was excellent (I recommend the French Toast and granola) and staff were friendly. Appreciated being able to pay extra for a big jug of maple syrup rather than just having maple flavour syrup. Liked the setting a local art, felt really cosy without being cramped.

Place doesn't have the seating to expect the kitchen to be backed up but food took 35 minutes to get to the table. Not as big a breakfast menu as I've come to expect from well known places. To be honest its an hour and a half I wish I could have back to enjoy Portland.

Nice little restaurant, many choices. Both the service and food were excellent. A welcome change from the many pretentious restaurants in the Old Port. Will definitely return to Hot Suppa!
