Really love this bakery, I will often go out of my way to get to this bakery. They have the best breads in Portland. The retail staff is quick and helpful.

I walk in, and I want one of almost everything they bake. I have been buying their bread and rolls since they were in a small location next to Street and Company (another favorite). There, they sold mostly wholesale and only retail if there was anything left. The baguettes are fabulous and rival those on the streets of Paris. In... More

The pastries and breads were as good as it gets, and even better! My wife is a baker, and she bought their cook book after two visits with consistently well-executed morning gems. Yum!

We are from NJ and are around a lot of good bread. Baguette here to die for. Could just inhale it all day. Made sandwiches and sat over the cliffs at the Lighthouse. Doesn't get much better. Also had an almond croissant and a lemon tart and they were heavenly. My hubby says he may make the 351 mile drive... More

We brought home a good selection of tarts, cookies, croissants and a baguette. All were amazing. Not one complaint. The service was fast despite the crowd. I'm looking forward to going back again.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Portland and were lucky enough to be right next door. We picked up pastries every morning for breakfast. Absolutely delicious!

Always excellent. Perfection. The absolute best bakery in the entire State of Maine. You must get there by 9 am on a Saturday morning if you want to get a croissant. Great service, but please, please, be nice to them as they wait on hundreds of people per day. The line can be out the door, but it's not their... More
