Great food perfectly prepared. The Omakase is a great value and very highly recommended. Since it changes constantly you never know what tasty treats you well get but I have never been disappointed and have tried some wonderful things that I probably would not have tried otherwise. The sushi is fantastic but please try some of the other items.

One of best sushi restaurants in New England. Always fresh, innovative and fun. Would highly recommend as first choice when visiting Portland

The real deal for high Japanese food. Presentation is authentic and choices are unique and hand made by well trained staff. We enjoyed sharing a 4 course meal (duck, snapper, crab-cake and salmon).

It's been a long time coming that we finally made it to Miyake for their four-course meal, and we were not disappointed. In fact, this evening's fare was one of the finest meals we've experienced in quite some time. And, who would have thought that Portland, Maine, would compete with the "big" East Coast cities for such a dining experience.... More

The Vietnamese food at Miyake is different than other Vietnamese restuarants, it is more gourmet. It is a great place to go for special occaisons as the food is excellent but the cost is high.

Beautifully prepared and tasting dishes. Owner of Camden Harbour Inn recommended this restaurant as his personal favorite in Portland and we think he was right! Small restaurant and a little noisy, so difficult to have a conversation. They offer a four course and a la carte options including some of the best rolls we ever had. Super fresh. Must visit... The food is barely mediocre, hardly worth visiting. I stopped here because of teh convenient location to shopping. Don't waste your time.

BenKay Japanese restaurant was my original destination, but it closed at 2 for lunch so I went a few blocks down the street to Miyake because u always wanted to try it. I ordered tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi, as well as the spicy scallop roll and the spicy tuna roll. The sashimi came out first. It was very fresh,... More
