The food was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere but it would have been quite expensive without the coupon/discount we used. The sad news is that they have since closed. Sorry, but you can visit their other location in Manchester, NH.

Brazillian Steakhouse - alot of food for the money. The salad bar is nice and they have some authentic drink specials. Not my first choice for Old Port dining.

If you have never been to a Brazilian steak house before, this is a must. If you have already dined, the food is "OK". Nothing super spectacular to write about here.

Whenever we are in Portland, it is always a great dinner. Have been here several times and have always enjoyed our meal! Have been for Birthdays and Anniversaries and always have had great service and food.

I visited Gauchos as part of a largish group and found the experience disappointing compared to other churrascarias. As someone who has seen gauchos behind the scenes, I would STRONGLY advise you to spend your money elsewhere. While the happy hour is a great deal, you truly get what you pay for.
