Lobster atoll and a View

My last day of my Maine vacation and when I saw the sign "if you are given lemons, order a lobster roll", I knew I found my farewell lunch. My friends had haddock, fried and grilled, which they said was delicious but I had to have that lobster roll and with melted butter, like the natives, not... read more

They say all food prepared fresh, so be prepared to wait. The waitress came promptly, but we waited 1/2 hour for the food. The chowder was very salty. I ordered a hamburg, well done. That does not mean it has to be charred. Also, half fell out of the bun. I assume it broke while flipping, and they just put... More

We had the motorhome at a campground nearby and opted for a night out. Cyndi's was a good choice. Beautiful setting right on the water (Middle Range Pond). Picnic tables at the water's edge if you're so inclined. Service was excellent. Our server, Kayla, was friendly and very professional. A nice menu selection - from burgers to lobster. Generous portions... More

Our experience in the Poland area (for good food) has been less than good. This particular place was new to us and I can't say enough about their food selection, atmosphere and especially their service. Our waitress (Jackie) was absolutely delightful - and made up that day to look like Rosie the Riveter. We had a hamburger and fried haddock... More

Cyndi's Dockside is a great little place in the country. It has a great water view and a nice deck to enjoy an outside lunch or dinner. I had the fried haddock sandwich - it was a great piece of fish that was cooked just right. Wait staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend stopping in.

A must when you travel to Poland, Maine. Dan the waiter was one of the best we have ever had. He was friendly and kept the kids laughing. Food was great - lobsters were cooked perfect. Everything had a great taste. While waiting for the lobsters, Dan asked if we wanted anything to snack on, and the kitchen whipped up... More

We had lobster rolls, lobster salad, clams. Clams9steamers) were well prepared, very fresh and plentiful. Lobster salad might have included a little more lobster and a little less lettuce, but it was fresh! Prices average for the area. Waitstaff was helpful in answering questions about various options and also in providing substitutions where needed. We sat in the upstairs deck... More
