Definitely get yourself a lobster roll when you go to the Lost Gull! Been going here for a few years and they haven't disappointed yet, all the people I've taken there have loved the food. Only down side is the parking is not great especially when it's busy.

We went here mainly from the recommendations on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. My husband and I both had the Clam Chowder ($4.99) which was delicious, truly one of the best chowders we had ever had. It is quite large, so 2 could share it easily. I had the lobster roll ($11.99) which was tasty and fresh and exactly... More

Don't get a couple of the reviews of their lobster rolls as "meh". To a true lover of lobster rolls this place ranks right up there with the best and I have had them from Camden, ME down to Gloucester, MA. All lobster with no celery, lettuce or other fillers that other restaurants use and try to pass off as... More

We knew nothing about this place when we stopped in. We enjoyed combo dinners with sea scallops and clams. Some of the clams were a bit on the large side, but well prepared. The portions were large. The French fries and onion rings were good. We ate in the little screen porch attached to the main body of the place... More

we had fried clam and haddock box. If you are not a big eater, you can split 1 box, there is more than enough food for 2 people. The fried clams and haddock were very good and the french fries were really good. Would definitely come back. a little on the pricey side...

Great portions. Usually order fish and chips or fried clams. Always fresh, quick service. Only complaint sometimes there isn't a table available to sit at and only restroom is a porta-potty.

Cute little place, very rustic and very popular with the locals. But I found the lobster roll kinda on the skimpy side with more shreds than chunks. And it's pretty pricey. But they do have a large selection of fresh seafood to choose from and a great Maine summer kind of atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's worth a... More

Every summer, we visit friends who live in nearby Norway, Maine. Driving over to The Lost Gull for lunch is a favorite ritual. The lobster roll is generously packed with real down Maine lobster on a buttered, toasted roll, as is the custom! Delicious, for only $11.99 this year. Other places on the coast charge $20+ for something similar. My... More

On a visit to Maine and decided to drop in. Wow! Great food and plenty of it. Big portions. The clams are not like any I ever had. The clam chowder is delicious. The fish and chips were the best.
