Joseph's is an institution in OOB. The restaurant is located directly on the beach. There is a terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner. The food is awesome, no matter what you select on the menu. Service is excellent. Try the clam chowder, it is delicious. We've been there over, let's say more than fifty times and we always... More

We expected a better dinner experience than we got tonight. The food was just ok. Very small portions of mixed veggies was disappointing for an above $23 entree. Our $9 salad were very small. However, it was the lack of service that was very disappointing. Our server did not explain what sides came with our entree. We were asked if... More

We saved Joseph's for a special experience. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area...after all, they have to be good to survive...but Joseph's stands out. We were surprised to see how many people were there, but there was no sense of haste or pressure. The food was fantastic and there were a couple of happy exuberant kids... More

Once again we visited OLD ORCHARD BEACH ( OCEAN PAR MAINE) and once again we mad our dinner arrangements for JOSEPH'S a must. The atmosphere and scenery (OCEAN in VIEW) and food is superb. If we had one suggestion it would be to add different POTATO choices. They have always served just SMASHED potatoes and although they are very good... More

My husband and I had breakfast here on Labor Day morning. We really enjoyed eating at a "real" restaurant after a week of trying out many of the beach stand and quick serve places in OOB. I had eggs with home fries and toast and he had an omelette. Both were very good and the prices were reasonable. We sat... More

good option for something fancier than the fast food from the pier. The prices are a bit higher than the usual other OOB restaurants but it is worth for a special night

Sometimes I need a good fine dining meal while vacationing. Joseph's exceeded my expectations! The view from the enclosed garden terrace was phenomenal! An ocean view with a nice cool ocean breeze and outstanding service was just what I was looking for. I had the pasta with pieces of mussels, shrimp and salmon. I would describe the sauce as a... The food was way overpriced, and services were really poor. When the server brought the beers to us, she spilled it over the table also got it on my husband’s pants. And then when we were ordering, she just rushed us before we were done saying what we wanted. There were quite a few of us, so I got to... More

Old Orchard Beach is quite touristy and crowded in July. Joseph's is like an oasis in a desert! The building is magnificent with views of the ocean and quiet table settings. The food was incredibly good. We had a linguine with lobster and shrimp sauce which was as good as I have ever had. Nice wine list too! The service... More

Whether you sit on the terrace or inside, you're guaranteed a great breakfast with great service. Friendly waitstaff and a great view of the ocean.
