Staff here are really warm and friendly. Prices were reasonable and the fried haddock was delish and chicken tenders are homemade..if your looking for more of a home cooked meal in a more family setting this is a great place for supper. Service was a bit slow but the meal and friendly service... read more

My wife and I rolled into OOB on a rainy, gloomy, unbeachable afternoon with our 3-year-old, 5-week-old, and my mother. Looking around at our dinner options, we went with the nearest indoor option: the Bell Bouy, an unassuming restaurant with low grade furniture and beach-tacky decorations. We were not expecting much — just sustenance. An hour and a half later,... More

Everything was freshly made. The chowder was not heavy at all. The clams were the star here. Service was friendly.

The service in this restaurant was fine. The decor is interesting but they could do some renovations. The booth seats were uncomfortable, lumpy, lack of support, tears in the material... Not the kinda place I expected $20+ pasta dishes on the meny. My companion and I both ordered from the 3 course menu. Started with the Lobster Bisque, which was... More

My daughter and I have been to the Bell Buoy several times in late 2014 and 2015. We always look forward to returning and to enjoying a wonderful meal and a nice conversation. We look forward to seeing Tracy who is witty, friendly, and absolutely professional all at the same time. She has been our server on each of our... More

From the moment we walked into the Bell Buoy, we knew that we were in for a pleasant dining experience. We received a warm and friendly greeting and were led to a booth. The place has such a great ambiance and is very nicely decorated. The well-stocked bar (great Bloody Mary!) is separate from the dining room which makes it... More

Recently my spouse and I vacationed in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and after a long day of seeing the sights, we got back to town and were famished. We wanted a sit down place and after being completely ignored (not an exaggeration) at the first place we walked into, we stumbled upon Bell Buoy. First off, let me say the... More

Hard to believe that the owners of Buoy Bell don't take advantage of the summer season by raising their prices. Indeed, it is true, that they offer a 3-course menu: appetizer, salad, and entrée, (with choice of a vegetable or potatoes or rice pilaf), for $19.99. The variety of appetizers is striking, and includes not only steamed clams, but asparagus... More

The staff was very friendly. We had the lazy lobster and thought the value was decent and the food was good. Nothing to write home about but not bad.
