the Haddock chowder was hot and fantastic! The restaurant was in an old house and was packed-it was charming and the food was so good!

I wanted Lobster and thats what I got, very good. Service was good. Had to wait 40 minutes for the Lobster, not sure if that is good or bad because it was the first time. Food and Service were very good, If you can splurg one night this would be the place to go.

My husband & I had a beautiful meal here on Sept 15. It's truly a lovely place, with fabulous food! I had the East Coast Halibut w/ the lobster sherry sauce...well, it was "slap yourself" delish. If you like a starter, I highly recommend the baked goat cheese. My hubby had his Maine favorite, fried clams & was happy with... More

My wife and I just came back from a dinner out at the Landmark with my brother and his wife. We have been to the Landmark many times before and generally like the restaurant. This time, I ordered the steak and lobster special for $28.95 only to receive a steak with a very minimal amount of lobster (~ 2ozs). The... More

We love the Landmark and make it a special dinner on our yearly trips to Maine. The staff is friendly, the food is AMAZING, and the restaurant itself is a beautiful old restored home!

My sister in-law went to the Landmark the night before we did and raved about it so the rest of the family decided to try it out. On her recommendation, I decided to try the swordfish and was a bit disappointed. What my sister-in law didn't tell me was that the portion was perfect for her (she's a lite eater)... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We had the choice of outdoor seating and clambake menu or indoor seating and more traditional menu. My daughter had the shrimp scampi and it was superbly garlicky and full of shrimp. As the only vegetarian option I resigned myself to the Mediterranean pasta with capers and calamata olives, but... We sat on the outdoor patio with friends from the area. Food was very good but dessert was exceptional. Service was a little rough due to language barrier between waitress and us. Prices were reasonable.

Ate in the outdoor patio. The outdoor menu is much smaller than the indoor menu. Food was alright and service was good. Portions were on the smaller size.
