Clean and sweet eats at Beach Plum!

This place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Ogunquit and it was so worth the stop! My husband and I enjoyed the best buttery soft shell lobsters and some of the cleanest and tastiest steamers I have ever had. Thank you Beach Plum, we cannot wait to visit again!

So happy we stopped in at the Beach Plum. It was just the type of casual simplicity that we were looking for. We ordered 2 lobsters and a bag of steamers. The food was perfection. The steamers were unbelievably sand and grit free. The lobsters were tender and juicy. The folks working at the Beach Plum are so friendly and... More

Stopped by because the totem poles lured us in, we are not big lobster or clams people. But Dave steamed up an order of clams for us. Thanks Dave!

Beach Plum Lobster Farm may not know how to name a lobster pound, but they do know how to prepare lobsters and steamers. First, deicide if you want your food to be eaten there or to go. There are 4 roadside picnic tables, so seating is limited. In the middle of the afternoon it is not a problem, but in... More

Little shack on the side of the road. Passed by and gave it a try. Absolutely the best steamed clams I have ever had. They were large and extremely tasty. My son and daughter had it with the butter however I had just in the broth they were so sweet and tasty that my mouth was watering. We also had... More

I took my future in-laws here on a quick drive up from Boston--they're from the Pacific Northwest and were looking to get their crustacean on and had heard about Beach Plum from a friend. It did not disappoint, but it isn't for everyone... If you're looking for a sit down lobster meal with table service, wine pairings, some rolls, whatever...this... More

I guess was surprised by what they didn't have. They carry only lobsters and clams and butter. Most Lobster Pounds carry several different kinds of seafood and sides for them . This place is bare bones. They have about 3 picnic tables across the parking lot but that's it. I got the feeling they wanted you to take your stuff... More

Ordered steamers and lobster and eat outside on picnic tables. Very good and very fresh and no sand in the steamers. We always stop here when in the area.
