Wow was driving on the highway passing through Maine. Looked up cheap live lobsters on my phone to take home and this joint showed up. Got on the phone to find out what the price of lobster was. Guy said we've been doing this twenty years - we are very reasonable - we don't give out the price over the... More

Not really a restaurant but a great Maine dining experience and a good deal. Small space with live lobsters. Pick your lobsters and take them home to cook them yourselves or pay a bit extra to have them boil them for you. If you have them prepared, take them outside and eat them on the picnic tables outside in nature.... More

Take out or delivery only - we ate right on the property at picnic benches provided. The lobster and steam clams were outstanding and a great value!!!

We had 2 3 1/2 lbs lobsters to take home and we ate 3 1 1/2 lbs lobsters & 2 lbs clams under the shack, fresh, sweet and delicious. The Lady, Ms Tina Desmarais, very nice and had a very good customer service. Based on my family's experience, I would recommend this shack for the fresh-sweet-good tasting delicious seafoods.

YOu can go here and buy fresh lobster live and take it away and cook it (if you are local or camping or have some place to cook it)...or you can have them boiled and eat them at picnic tables outside with butter (additional $1 to cook the lobsters). If you want lobster and you don't need sides with it... More

The beach plump lobster farm is a type of lobster market where you can buy live lobsters to enjoy. You have two options: you either take them away or you ask to have them boiled (small fee) and eat them on the picnic tables in the back. They asked for the prices not to be published online, but let me... More

We were staying at the Anchorage by the sea resort and even if we have a kitchenette - we were not really equipped to cook lobster. I made some researches at home before coming and it was pretty clear in my mind that we have to order lobster at the Beach plum and take them out to our resort. We... More

Enjoyed this place 4 times this year. Tina served us-she is co-owner and was friendly and helpful. The lobster was steamed to perfection. We also got clams, all to go. They do have picnic tables. Interesting carved Indian statues on grounds. Will most definitely visit them next year again. Stop by and say HI to Tina.

Not cheap though. Smell and taste were amazing. Very pleased with the size and cleanliness of the steamers. No sand, and really nice meaty clams, cooked perfectly. Best take away.

Once you get tired of paying too much for lobsters at the restaurants in town, swing by this place and pickup a few to cook at home yourself. We picked up 6 for a good price and they were great. You also get the added bonus that the kids will be fascinated by them before they hit the steam. The... More
