This is a very large property, spotless and very well maintained which is tough in with the constant sea air and winter storms. Get a map and study it when your first check in. The property is spread out over several large building. The room numbers and floor numbers bear no relation so everyone is wondering around lost all the... More

Look right over the ocean as you eat breakfast - can't get better than that! Service was very good, and the food good, too!

We were disappointed with the food at the Cliff House restaurant. Maybe we ate there too late in the season? The tomato sauce was the same for the Lobster Bisque and the Lobster Macaroni. Overall, not bad, but very expensive for the quality! Service was friendly, but slow. The kitchen crew may have been smaller than usual??

The Maine Coast in all it's beauty was the view from our veranda. Perfect sunny fall weather and a beautiful full moon made it ideal. Lovely clean room and the Spa was excellent as well.

I have been here 3 times and love it. Actually, each time this has been a place that I have brought colleagues on an annual planning retreat - so it has been a work / relax situation. The location cannot be beat - unbelievable. I do think that every room has an ocean view. The food is good / variable.... More

We had a reservation for my 40th birthday dinner. We were promptly seated right next to the picture windows so we could overlook the cliff and the water. The menu had a variety of different meals to choose from. I had the baked stuff haddock and my bf had the coffee rubbed chicken. Both were excellent and both came with... More

We enjoyed the ocean view from our porch, and loved the various pools available to us. The desk staff seemed to be doing us a favor by allowing us to check in and we had no help in finding our way to the room. The buildings are a bit of a maze, and navigating them can be confusing. The breakfast... More

It's in the most gorgeous location, and the views are stunning. With an investment into the rooms - some much needed updating this hotel could be GREAT. It feels dated. Even the bedding seems dated.... bathrooms/blah. It was clean, and the people seemed friendly BUT it wouldn't be on the top of my list to stay at. Just a good... More

The place is way overpriced. No real bar. No snacks. Service poor. No tennis courts. Broken down basket ball court. No putting golf area. Nothing to do for kids, don't bring them. Not as fun as the place has potential for. Spa is way to expensive. The views are nice
