We have been visiting the location for decades before it morphed into M C Perkins Cove. The bar is friendly, but well lit, so if you are looking for a more romantic setting, MAKE RESERVATIONS! The view from the downstairs dining room is spectacular, so if it's a special occasion, request window seating. Very good Fish Tacos (and we dine... More

My whole experience at this restaurant was perfect. It sits right on the ocean with a beautiful view. We got there around 4pm and sat at the bar while watching the sun set. We ate shrimp cocktail and then ordered oysters. Then more oysters. The wine selection was very nice. Later we sat down in the dining room and had... More

Had lunch here and it was simply delicious. We ordered the fish tacos and lobster roll for lunch. The tacos slightly edged it. The wine we ordered wasn't quite chilled but because of that they recommended another. Fabulous views of the cove.

The owner of our Inn recommended this restaurant and he didn't fail us. The view is spectacular. We arrived, without reservations on a Friday night in mid-September, the wait was very long. However, two seats opened up at the bar and we ate there. Even with seats far away from the windows the view was spectacular. Our recommendation is to... More

Maybe it was the nor'easter howling, the ocean swirling and the waves crashing right outside the windows that helped to make our dining experience at M C Perkins Cove so special but from the moment we entered the restaurant we were wowed. The decor is clean and chic. The lighting soft and temperature comfortable. The overall ambience, warm and inviting.... More

For us it was within walking distance of our rental house and it is right on the water with a great view. I had the rainbow trout. It had the head on which I had not expected. It sort of turned my stomach, but the taste was good and the sauce was excellent. We all had the onion rings and... More

Went here on 10/26 with 4 friends for brunch. We called ahead and were seated when we arrived. The view is stunning! I ordered a Ramos gin fizz it was so refreshing, good brunch drink. The pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon sugar butter were out of this world. We shared this as an appetizer and we all agreed we could have eaten... More

Friends made the reservation here, so I had no idea of what kind of restaurant it was. I thought it would just be another seafood place in a seaside (touristy) location. I was wrong. The food here was great--well prepared, nice presentation, attentive service. While my spouse and I both had fish--salmon and swordfish--other dishes were equally well prepared and... More

For dinner, I had their lobster mac and cheese and the chicken another night. Everything was great by the chicken was my favorite. The amazing food coupled with... More

Arrive early for lunch and you will be rewarded with a window seat with a incomparable ocean view. The surf was up and we found it hard to tear our eyes away long enough to look at the menu. My turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich on sourdough was divine and my husband said his Kobe burger was perfection. We look... More
