Went there tonight. After summering here for 13 years, wanted to try it for more than just ice cream. I had a cobb salad and from first look it wasn't your usual cobb it had fruit along with asset's vegges and some ham and cheese. However it was good and filling. This family-owned place looks like it's mainly an ice cream and candy place, but they have nice inside and outside seating and a decent lunch menu. This place was recommended for their lobster bisque and we weren't disappointed. Very creamy, generous portions, and I found two whole, unbroken pieces of claw meat in my bowl. Loved the family photos around... More

My husband and I have been staying in Ogunquit for a week every summer for years. Out of our seven days, in past years, we've taken lunch at the Rose Cove Café around four or five times per vacation week and we've always loved the food and the atmosphere. This year, while the food was still great, we did not... More

Not bad but deff nothing special. Average. Grilled cheese on pita bread with tomato & fries was just average. Lobster roll had decent amount of lobster and was on a round roll (not the normal hot dog roll) was fine but again nothing special. Service was average. They offer free fudge tasting at hostess stand which is nice. On a... More

I had the lobster salad and my wife had the lobster saute. The service was great; the owner stopped by and visited with us. They have an ice cream bar there too, although we were too stuffed to enjoy it. They have special outdoor seats for four that have gas "fire pits" in the middle. They're hard to explain but... More

We had a romantic dinner at one of their outdoor tables with a built-in fire pit. The food was fantastic and the lobster salad was one of the best I have ever had! Service was excellent and the owner came to our table and greeted us. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I hate to say it but I'm sorry I wasted my time eating a previously frozen Lobster roll here when there is so much great lobster in Ogunquit. I started with the clam chowder which I would insist came from a can (and it seems they served me the WHOLE can. The only thing worse than bad soup is a... More

We went to Rose Cove to get an early dinner. From the minute we walked onto the patio we were given a sample of their homemade fudge, which is the creamiest we have ever had--delicious!!! We then we sat at a table with a fire pit in the center. It was a cool damp day, so it felt great. I... More

New outdoor seating with gas fire pits at the center of your table makes for wonderful ambiance for al fresco dining! Food is always very good. Prices are reasonable for this resort own! Top it off with ice cream for dessert!

This was the first place we visited in Ogunquit. The clam chowder although a little on the thick side was still very good. The lobster bisque was great. The lobster rolls were chock full of perfectly cooked lobster meat on a pita style bun. I would have to say that this is one of the best lobster rolls I had.... More
