Great Location

Rose Cove is located in the heart of Ogunquit, not a huge place nor is it fancy, has both indoor and outdoor seating, we usually eat outdoors during the warmer months. We enjoy the people watching but be aware the traffic and the hustle and bustle of Ogunquit in July and August can be hectic. We... read more

I had the clam chowder which was delicious. I also had a haddock sandwich which was flaky and on some delicious fresh baked bread. My husband had a steak and cheese sandwich. Overall, a great experience.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Fast friendly service. Good food. Complimentary fudge for dessert. Great little cafe right on street corner. We went out of season in mid April and so enjoyed less crowds.

I usually visit the Rose Cove Café when I'm in Ogunquit. They have great sandwiches, and the fudge is amazing. It is a family-owned place, and the owners are always very friendly. Also a great place to make your own sundae in the summer.

I wasn't expecting much. Ogunquit was crowded and this place wasn't overly busy. What set the clam roll apart from the many others I have eaten was the freshly baked homemade New England style hot dog bun. The roll was phenomenal. The clams were excellent too, fresh and as tasty as (almost) any I have had elsewhere. Son's cheeseburger was... More

Several people told me that if I wanted a great haddock sandwich to go to Rose Cove Cafe. They were right. The light bun for the sandwich is made right there in the morning and the fish is the freshest possible. It was delicious and huge. If it is a nice day, you can sit at tables outside. The fudge... We had lunch at this restaurant twice. Very friendly staff and the best clam chowder in Ogunquit! The free samples of fudge were an added treat.

Very good food, and the homemade fudge is to die for! Really wish that the fudge could be bought online.
