Got there at 5 and found a seat at the piano upstairs. Music started at 6. Sing along and chat with the pianist and others around the piano. Jovial atmosphere. Good food (a bit pricey). Generous well drinks, but again, a bit pricey -- $12.50 for a Manhattan. Had only appetizers and light fare. Smallish portions but very good quality.... More

After having 2lbs of lobster earlier in our stay, I didn't think I could eat anymore. When I saw Lobster Risotto on the menu, I couldn't resist. There was at least a lb of lobster meat if not more, and the risotto was so creamy and delicious. My next visit, I will be sure to order this again.

We had an unexpectedly excellent dining experience this past Tuesday at the Front Porch. I had the pan seared scallops, which were very sweet & prepared perfectly & Dennis had the swordfish special done in soy sauce & ginger that he loved - & he is very picky! Drinks, dessert, ambiance et al were also great. Sara was our waitperson... More

Worth the visit to the piano bar. Some of the best people watching around. Cult following throughout the restaurant belting out show tunes etc. Food was little disappointing though. Caesar salad soggy and flatbread without much flavor. Lobster roll tasty but round dense roll overwhelmed the flavor of the lobster. Coconut shrimp was firm and tasty. Waiter - John gave... More

The owner of the inn where I was staying recommended The Front Porch. I was reluctant to try this place as I had read the reviews of the piano bar, sing along, etc. and as a solo traveler, I felt it may have been "too much." I was so mistaken. I had dinner in the bar here on a Tuesday... More

Charming little restaurant with a seriously cool vibe. It feels like the kind of bar/restaurant where you do want everyone to know your name. Somewhat limited menu but everything on it is good. If you are in Ogunquit, do not miss it.

We always make it a point to come here for dinner when we are in town for the weekend. Spent the wife's birthday weekend at 2 Village Square (Hi Bruce and Scott!) which is one of the best places to stay right in downtown (unless maybe staying at the Nellie to avoid the hill!). Wife had the special, which was... More

The Front Porch Restuarant is centrally located in Ogunquit, ME and is a very popular dining choice. The downstairs restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food is very good and the wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The second floor is the place to be...you can eat there as well but it's known for the piano bar. The piano players... More
