Good food but they nickel and dime you . . .

First parking is extremely limited in Perkins Cove, so you have to pay to park one way or another. We visited in April 2015 for lunch. Barnicle Billy's provides a small parking area which they tell you there is no charge however you are expected to donate or tip the attendants in the parking lot... read more

Sitting in the dining area eating a lobster sandwich and looking out at Perkin's cove is the most peaceful meal.

No wonder this place is always packed...The food, which you order at the counter, is cooked just right and served indoors at tables. The waitstaff brings your drinks. There is no rush to the pace for diners, just time to enjoy the perfectly cooked lobster and other side dishes. It is a no-frills type of place, perfect for families and... More

After trying to get to Barnacle Billy's for 5 years I have to say I was quite disappointed. This review is the original Billy's not the etc. There are two side by side. So you walk in and order your food then choose your table. The menu is limited. Servers will take your drink order at your table. There is... More

BB has the prime spot in Ogunquit, so if it is about location and water view go here. If it has anything to do with menu or value, reconsider. The menu is basically unchanged for decades. Lobster is lobster, and cooked well. The rest of the offerings are not inspired but ok. Nothing fried, which is fine. Crab, tuna, etc.... More

each season I fall into the trap of eating at this horrible place. Yes they have the view and that is it. It is a disgrace to be charged the outrageous prices for poor quality food. Shame on this place

Barnacle Billy's is a must when you visit Ogunquit! The food is fantastic. The lobster is a no-brainer, but we've had other dishes on the menu and they were all delicious. If you have room for dessert, you must try the key lime pie! I highly recommend sitting outside on their deck - you get a beautiful view of the... More

I've been coming to Ogunquit for years just to eat at Barnacle Billy's and walk the Marginal Way. One of my favorite summer activities is spending an afternoon at BB's outdoor deck with friends enjoying steamers, lobster, and drinks. Lobster is one of my favorite foods and nobody does it better than Billy's. I don't know what they do that... More
