Fantastic meal, best of our trip and then some.

By far this was the best dinner we had in Oqonquit during our visit. We arrived late one evening so sat in the bar area, and proceeded to have a five course feast of various dishes. The drinks were amazing and literally, this was one of the best meals I have had in recent memory, never mind just... read more

We are only here for a weekend and made reservations for Saturday night. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. I felt remiss for ordering a beer as I saw the bartenders pouring heavy handed for the cocktails. For dinner my wife and I tried the clam chowder which was excellent and had plenty of clams. My... Nicely done dishes with some creative flair. Outstanding seafood and pastas and wide selection of tasty appetizers. Attentive service as well. Best meal in our week long stay in Ogunquit. Being from NYC and spoiled by great restaurants, would rate this highly.

Tory at the door is wonderful! She's always so pleasant and happy to help you. The roasted chicken is a must try dish! Never disappointed at Five-0!!!

The BEST place to have dinner in Ogunquit. We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation and the food was world class. The prices are on the high side, but the quality of great and the staff might be the best on the road. I would go back to Ogunquit just to eat here

Food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. We had the Traditional Bolognese and it was excellent. Wine was good, too, but the pour could have been a little more generous. The waitstaff were all very attentive. Reservations recommended, especially for dinner during the summertime.

Had a very good meal and fantastic service as this restaurant. The atmosphere is upscale relaxed and not at all stuffy. All of the food was above average in tasted and presentation. The clam chowder (they call it Maine chowder or something like that) was the best clam chowder I've ever had -- full of clams and amazing flavor and... More

Thank you for your recent visit and for taking the time to write a very good recommendation on Trip Advisor. The chowder you enjoyed has long been a favorite at Five-O, and you are correct, it is always loaded with clams (as we have heard many times over the years). We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your entire... More

My husband and I had an excellent meal. We ordered tapas and dinners. Our service was excellent apart from the crabby host. It probably made the list of top ten dinners ever.

Thank you for your five-star review on Trip Advisor prompted by your recent "perfect" visit to Five-O. We are truly happy to hear that we helped make your date night a success (despite the apparent "crabby host"). To make your list of top-ten dining experiences is an honor and we look forward to you joining us again for many special... More

We had a great experience at Five-O. The place was packed and we did not have a reservation so we sat in the bar. The bar had a full menu and excellent service! If you go, try the clam chowder, it's wonderful. We all had different meals(scallops, dinner size salads, burgers) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Not only... More

Thank you for your glowing review on Trip Advisor inspired by a "great" experience at Five-O. We are delighted to hear that, although you did not have a reservation, we were able to accommodate you in the lounge. Despite the fact the bar was, as you observed, packed, we are happy to have read that you still received exceptional service... More

Elegance is not a feature of most restaurants in Ogunquit, but this one comes about as close as any. Also, situated right in the heart of the tourist area, a crucial benefit of eating here is the parking lot behind the restaurant. Service is polite and efficient, tables are cloth covered, cloth napkins, nicely set and far enough apart for... More

Thank you for your recent visit to Five-O and for taking the time to write a mainly good but somewhat mixed review on Trip Advisor. It appears that you enjoyed most aspects of your experience: The décor, the service, the appetizers, and the house-made desserts, which you considered "scrumptious". Your comments about the entrees however require a brief rebuttal. You... More
