Marring an otherwise perfect weekend in Ogunquit was our patio experience at Gypsy Sweethearts. It started out so lovely and tanked soon after. We were seated on the patio on a perfect Saturday evening. A very tidy and articulate man took our order. He raved about the specials, was all smiles, charming. Then, like the sound of a needle being... More

We sampled several items from the dinner tapas menu including: potato gnocchi, warm buffalo chicken dip, Cubed Manchego cheese with Rosemary & Thyme, Fresh Raspberries salad with Toasted Walnuts and Local Goat Cheese salad, and the Flame Broiled Sirloin Burger…with blue cheese & caramelized onion and waffle fries. All of the food items were exceptional and had fabulous flavor. The... More

Service was excellent, as was the food. We ate indoors, and it had a very nice homey feel to it. Keep in mind, it is closed on Mondays.

Having dined here before we felt this was a 'safe' bet. Warmly greeted by a hectic hostess we sat down and waited, a while, before a server appeared. We didn't get to order drinks until we ordered our meals. We were under the impression that while the staff were friendly and polite, it was clear that there were mostly seasonal... More

We had a wonderful meal at this charming restaurant. The beet soup with dill was utterly delicious, as were the salads and tapas selections. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. We will definitely return here on our next vacation in Ogunquit.

We sat in their garden which was softly but generously lighted with mini white lights and a paper lantern. It was a romantic and enjoyable place to dine. We weren't very hungry, so we ordered from the tapas menu. We got the sweet potato & leek soup which was very tasty. My husband got a skewer of scallops. They were... More

Popped in this restaurant while staying in town for a beach weekend. We had no reservations but were seated in a wonderful table on the porch overlooking the active street below. The menu was a nice variety from the usual with some excellent sounding Spanish inspired dishes. Ordered a fabulous cocktail from their list, may have been a twist on... More
