The view is to die for. As for the food... Meh. However, the view was greater than the food, right up til we got the bill. The bill was fine, but it specifically said "pay the cashier" , which we did. Until the server followed us to the cash register and accussed us of walking out. I pointed out that... More

My wife and I along with other family members have had lunch many times at this restaurant. We last visited Columbus Day weekend. It has a nice casual atmosphere with a great view of the ocean. The service has always been good and our meals have been as expected. We especially like the generous crabmeat salad and clams. Can't wait... More

Had to try a crab roll. My wife thought it was a bit mild and not the tastiest she has had. I enjoyed the atmosphere of being by the window overlooking Oarweed cove. All in all, you pay for the location and the view. Food was OK.

Had lunch here for the first time and thought the seafood chowder was very good. We had crab salad and lobster salad and there were egg shells in my salad. The eggs were obviously purchased as hard boiled but the cook could have done a better job washing and preparing the salad. Two cups of chowder, two salads, and two... More

This is a casual restaurant (wooden tables and chairs) with a great view. I had a whole lobster with the fish chowder and blueberry pie for dessert and was very satisfied. The chowder was delicious and the lobster was moist and meaty. The blueberry pie was just ok, nothing to write home about. Service was fast and friendly. Not inexpensive... More

Ocean view located right at end of Marginal way foot walkway. Sandwiches w/pickle and bag of chips at dinner-$13 and up range Meals in the $20 and up range and were subject to market rates. Scallop sandwich was excellent-scallops moist and soft, cooked perfectly and very tasty.

This lunch was the worst meal we ate in three weeks in Maine. Tasteless haddock in a soggy bun. Watery crab on a few leaves. This place is not worth the high prices they charge for being next to the sea. Walk the marginal way, but take a sandwich and sit on the rocks!

Since 1989 my husband & I have looked forward to dinner at Oarweek 2 times during our one week stay in Ogunquit. There was always a long wait since there were no reservations were accepted, excellent service, superb lobster, seafood chowder, steamed clams & raspberry pie. The place was always busy with happy diners. The last few years, there has... More

So, we keep going back year after year and you'd think that we would get tired of it, or be disappointed, but we're not. It's just always as good and the staff is always pleasant. The view can not be beaten, there's nothing like it. If you don't mind having people walk close by (on the Marginal Way), and it's... More
