Was so happy to find their new location right in town and so close to where we were staying. Excellent menu choices and the interior is quite calming. Staff very friendly and eager to please

Roost Cafe was within walking distance from our hotel, so we made reservations for an early dinner before seeing a play at the Ogunquit Playhouse. We ate at 6pm at it was pretty empty at that time but had certainly picked up by the time we left. Roost Cafe had a great cocktail list and a variety of food to... More

The service and food were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Cuban influence on the menu. The roast pork (lechón asado) with black beans and rice was delicious.

We chose Roost based on a glowing recommendation from a couple we met on the beach. Upon arrival, we realized we had been there on a previous trip to Ogunquit (a few years ago) when it was "98 Provence". The exterior is much the same was we remembered - an attractive cottage-style building set back from Shore Road, surrounded by... More

Had dinner here and were not too impressed. Not that the food was bad, but nothing memorable. Was disappointed in the size of the cod special: Piece of fish was in the 1/4 pound range - cod is not exactly in the same price range as caviar, so it would have been smarter to serve a more generous portion. Salads,... More

I ate breakfast alone at Roost as my wife does not like breakfast and had the traditional eggs benedict. The menu described the eggs as "perfectly" poached and their description did not disappoint. The hollandaise sauce is made on the premises and wonderful. You have a choice of home fries or a potato cake. I chose the home fries. They... More

This was our first visit and will not be the last. We went with friends who have been here before. We found a great wine, cocktail, and beer list. The dinner menu was very appealing and made our choices very difficult. The daily special also added to the difficult decision. All of our meals were beautifully presented and served hot.... More

We met up with friends who recommended this restaurant and we're glad we went. To start the choices of wine/beer/drinks were good. The food was amazing! Every employee that we came across from the bartender and our waitress were so friendly.

Stopped for breakfast because of a recommendation. Disappointed. Eggs & muffins had no taste. Hash browns tasted like they were left over from the day before. Wife's omelet had way too much cheese. Feel like wee had a hack chef. Service was great with very nice waitresses .

Went for breakfast. Way overpriced and food was below par. Bacon tasted awful and when we pointed it out to our waiter he said the chef doesn't like it either but that's what he must serve. They charged us for it even though we returned it. Never again.
