We stayed at the Grand Hotel next door and decided to try this new restaurant. It has a charming layout, didn't feel like you were sitting too close to other tables. Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Food was unusual and beautifully prepared. While we usually skip dessert, we all decided to indulge. What a treat. It was a bit... More

My wife and I love the Roost! The new owners have done a wonderful job with the bar. One of our favorite places to go for a cocktail.

We had a delightful lunch this afternoon. The waiter was very attentive and pleasant to chat with. We had the greens and grains with goat cheese, dried fruit and a champagne vinaigrette and it was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We very much enjoyed our meal.

WE originally had reserved a table in the dining room but ended up eating at the bar. We started off having a cocktail at the bar and found that we were enjoying ourselves too much to make the move to the dining room. The food was excellent - I had tangy grilled swordfish with coconut rice and sauteed veggies and... More

The restaurant is beautiful. The new owners have so improved the bar area with the little sparkling white lights and now the place is a lot more inviting. Re the food: you will not find a better tasting and more generous fish taco around! All the food we have had has been scrumptious. We have snacked here, had dinner, lunch... More

Had a delicious dinner at the Roost. Most of the menu can be ordered gluten free. Was served a gluten free muffin when others were given bread. Warm and tasty. Appetizer of Gluten free vegetable tempura was so large we both enjoyed. GF fish and sweet potato chips were great. Non GF diner was also good. Next time want try... More

My friends and I were in Ogunquit for the 4th of July weekend, and were looking for a light dinner. We were originally seated in the dining area, but didn't realize that the "Light Fare" menu was not served in there. The dining room was beautiful and the menu looked great for a nice dinner out, but not to grab... More
