Cozy, good service, good food

A rainy day excursion to Ogunquit. Outside eating is out. We fell upon the Roost and very pleased we did. We ate at the bar although there was some room in the dining room. Our bar tender who had broken his arm sky diving had a little problem opening the wine but more than made up for it with... read more

If you're gluten-free, then you need to eat here. There are LOTS of options at breakfast and dinner. The entire staff is knowledgeable about eating gluten-free, which makes it a snap to eat here. We ate here four times while we were in Ogunquit. We will return!

Consistently tasty, strong, vibrant flavor profiles. Great service. Ambiance is best downstairs. Upstairs provides needed additional space but feels like eating in someone's spare attic room.

Wonderfully creative takes on traditional dishes, perfectly executed and nicely plated. Lemon ricotta pancakes were absolutely outstanding. Creme brûlée French toast was just really special. Came back next day and had a twin crab cake eggs Benedict, which is part of an entire section of Benedicts available and was also a standout.

We stopped for lunch after shopping aroud Perkins Cove. The host (who we believe to be the owner) was bright and cheery. We liked the atmosphere too. I had the tuna melt and my husband the crab cake eggs benedict. The food was good but the waitress who was filling in seemed a bit frustrated when we asked questions about... More

The average quality of the breakfast did not meet my expectations relative to the price, especially since they got the order wrong (fried egg instead of scrambled in the egg sandwich. The food quality was diner quality. The eggs were greasy and somewhat tasteless. The setting is noisy and chaotic. Breakfast is much better at Surf Point 360.

My friend and I went to the Roost Café & Bistro for breakfast and had the best homemade corned beef hash I think I ever tasted! The eggs were poached perfectly too, and were sufficiently soft enough to dunk the thick multigrain toast. We went back later that night for a glass of wine, and the most incredible coconut flan.... Went here for breakfast and the food and ambiance was amazing! Had some unique breakfast options and the food was delicious. It was much quieter than the other places we stopped and the breakfast cocktails were just as good as the food. Overall we had a very nice dining experience and would definitely go back.

My wife just spent a week in the Wells/Ogunquit area and we were looking for a different place to eat at. We found Roost and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed! The food was great, the atmosphere was grand and the wait staff attentive! We enjoyed our stay and the blueberry cobbler was decadent!!
