We loved the atmosphere, service and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. The lunch and dinner menus look amazing, so we will return to try both.

We chose this restaurant as my wife must follow a gluten free menu and Roost appeared to provide many options. Once we were there it was clear that they went above and beyond the typical gluten free options. They would adapt the majority of their menu options. It was like eating out used to be before the celiac diagnosis. Our... More

Let me be clear: the Roost is wonderful! And to think we almost missed it! My daughter and I had heard good things about Cafe Amore so we trudged down there the morning we were leaving Ogunquit, sad already to be going and hot from an unexpected heatwave. When the hostess blithely handed us a beeper and said 45-minute wait,... More

We recently visited Roost Cafe for the first time, and it definitely will not be our last. In our party, we had 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 4. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The food was out of this world. 2 of us had the specials that included a dish with scallops, and a dish... More

Our family has been going to Roost regularly for brunch since 2011 when our children were 5 and 7 -- it is exceptionally good! We regularly take friends and their children there with us. We've also been there for dinner. We maintain good restaurant child-etiquette, and while the majority of patrons are adults, we've always felt extremely welcome and cared... More

Loved this place the most of all our meals in Ogunquit. The atmosphere is super relaxing, the food is simply delish! We found this place late in our trip or we would have been here more. A must stop when visiting the area!

We happened by this restaurant and loved the beautiful window boxes. Inside we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and inspired menu. The lobster and sweet potato hash with eggs, and the lemon ricotta gluten-free pancakes with fresh blueberries were even more delicious than they sound. The service was excellent.

Roost Cafe was within walking distance from our hotel, so we made reservations for an early dinner before seeing a play at the Ogunquit Playhouse. We ate at 6pm at it was pretty empty at that time but had certainly picked up by the time we left. Roost Cafe had a great cocktail list and a variety of food to... More

The service and food were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Cuban influence on the menu. The roast pork (lechón asado) with black beans and rice was delicious.
