I have been in this bakery many times over the years. It's fine, but I can get better baked goods in almost any other town or city. I know people like to "love" treat type things when on vacation, but lets be realistic, this place is only #1 on Tripadvisor because its been around, and there is no real competition.

The aroma is what drew me in, the decorative displays and taste is why I keep returning. This bakery is delicious, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

As I said, I start every day with something from Bread and Roses. Love the pastries, the desserts and the price is fair

We are stopping there on our way out of town, sigh. It is the bakery to end all bakeries. I will miss it dearly.

We go here and stock up on their chocolate cake and their fruit tarts for our vacation. Some of the best pastries we have ever had! So delicious.

Coffee smelled delicious - also had juice, milk etc. The breads looked amazing - although this time we only bought tarts and cake. Busy place - it may take a while to make up your mind!

Coconut cream pastry and light, fluffy flourless chocolate cake were just the right movie treat back at our B&B! Soooo delicious!

We have sampled many treats from B&R over the years and rarely are we disappointed. I'm a huge fan of whoopee pies and on this last trip I discovered that there are better ones to be had. Everything else though was fabulous. I love the fruit tarts and the various brownies and squares are always tasty. We often get treats... More

I'm glad I stopped in for a pastry. Everything looked and smelled amazing in here but I only let myself indulge on one treat. There is often a line so allow time.
