Great Lobster Roll

My partner and I stopped here along a morning walk of the Marginal Way from Ogunquit Center to Perkins Cove. While we were looking to get a breakfast sandwich, we opted to go with their "world famous" lobster roll. I must say it was one of the best ones we have had. My partner is from Maine and we... read more

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was more than happy to sit and chat with us and tell us about the difference in the various shellfish seasons. It was a little windy of a day to eat outside, and since this is just a takeout place, we opted to get a lobster roll to go. It was... More

They make it fresh and they make it the way you want it. It is perfection and I have tried lobster rolls galore. I dream about when I will have it next when I am riding out of Ogunquit, and I'm from Boston! The only downfall is that it is just a counter with two or three seats so you... More

I consider myself an expert on the lobster roll, and Footbridge did not disappoint. They offer their rolls either with butter, mayo, a combination or plain. Since it was our first time at this place, we got 2 lobster rolls, one with mayo, one with butter, and we split them. We could have been very satisfied with just splitting one... More

A must stop when in Perkins Cove, grab one of the wonderful Lobster Rolls with potato salad, sit by the harbor and watch the fishing boats. Awesome

Was recommended from the Lobster Gal, Sally Lerman's, book Lobster Rolls of New England. First, I stopped next door and wasn't over thrilled with their lobster roll. Then I got in line and was number 42. I ordered a lobster roll with butter and asked for no sides.Just wanted to taste the lobster meat expecting a sweet experience. It was... More

We live in the Portland, Maine area and have had plenty of lobster rolls, but this one was by far the biggest. Great toasty roll, and overflowing with huge pieces of lobster tail & claw meat. I also had the grilled swordfish sandwich, which was excellent

As a first time visitor with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend we decided to try the Lobster roll for lunch. This place has a lot of foot traffic and the lines can be long at times. On this day they were having a $15.95 Steamed Lobster Special which consisted of two lobsters and a 1/2 ear of corn. We... More

Lobster roll was full of tail and claw meat. I loved how they asked us if we wanted it made with butter or mayo. Very delicious and i definitely recommend. It's just a shack so eat at a bench around the corner. We also got the clam chowder. It was pretty tasty but could've used more clams. If so, i... More
