Outstanding lobster roll

We have been ordering lobster rolls at most restaurants in Maine and this wass probably the best. There is a lot of lobster meat with little or no filler. We ordered it with butter instead of mayo. The place is right on the water and you can sit and eat outside. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would... read more

My wife had the two for one twin lobster special and I had the lobster roll. My wife loved her lobster. What made the lobster roll so special? The quality of the lobster. It was very fresh and not the usual flash frozen lobster often served at most restaurants which has a rubbery texture and a fishy taste. I thought... More

I totally agree with a previous reviewer. I have gone to Footbridge in years past, exclusively for their lobster rolls. This year was a huge disappointment. They reduced the amount of lobster and increased the price!! For the same price, you can dine in one of the area restaurants and get a more substantial serving of lobster. I will not... More

We went here last year and fell in love with the lobster rolls. Couldn't wait to return this year. Unfortunately we were so disappointed!! The lobster meat portion was half the size of the previous year. I know for sure because I took a photo of the lobster roll last year. We won't be returning!!

But now the prices have increased and you get half the lobster meat on a smaller roll. Hopefully they go back to what made them great.

This is a little walk up place that is inside Perkins Cove. Their lobster roll was probably the best one we had since being up the area. The owner was there even and talked about them, he was even wearing his fishing gear. They offer their lobster rolls in mayo or butter, we chose butter since most places automatically do... More

This was our third year in Ogunquit. The first year Footbridge Lobster was astonishing! The lobster grilled cheese and lobster rolls contained generous portions of lobster and were perfectly prepared. The quality and portions slipped last year. This year the food was an embarrassment to the name. To add insult to injury, the prices jumped way up. Other places with... More

As other reviewers have mentioned, the size of the lobster roll has significantly shrunk form last year. Go next door to the Lobster Shack. You will not be disappointed.

We have been Footbridge enthusiasts for several years and enjoyed having the card to check off our lobster rolls, several each year. This year we were very disappointed. The bread in the lobster roll is shorter and there is half as much lobster meat! And the price has doubled!! We no longer recommend this place for lobster rolls! We are... More

We had a lobster roll and a fried shrimp roll, both were excellent. Quick service and we sat on a bench overlooking the ocean to eat.
