Walking into the Village Food Market you will see their version of an old familiar look. The mornings are filled with locals and travelers, sharing coffee over morning headlines, dishing the local gossip. Freshly baked blueberry muffins, fruity delicious scones and coffee cakes, all to rival your grandmothers', are ready each morning to eat inside off-season (or in the summer... More

Tidy little grocery/wine shop/sandwich counter all in one. No bargains but if you need something it's there. Very nice wine and cheese selection. Well worth not having to find a grocery store on vacation. More

This store had a cute collection of local foods and beverages. Great gifts for your foodie friends, but a little pricey if you are just trying to pick up some groceries. More

If you're in the mood for...anything delicious-this is the place! It's like an upscale deli/general gourmet diaspora of yumminess:) want a pint of Ben & Jerry's (why would you? The real b&js is just acoupke of stores down)-they got it! Want incredible soup? They got it! Awesome sesame noodles? Yup, that too! How about hot prepared food? Tons of it!!!... More

Ordered the Muenster and Avocado sandwich. Amazingly tasteful and light (if you pick off the red onions). Fairly quick service. Somewhat rude signs for the patio to keep people who don't buy their pricey sandwiches off. The smoothies were five bucks for an island oasis mix with ice. Disgusting. For five dollars you should at least get some fresh fruit... More

The deli inside this small market is fantastic! I got a turkey and provolone on a crispy baguette and it was great. They also had hot items from the grill. It is perfect if you want something small and reasonable or items for a picnic. More

They have a decent variety of groceries, but most seemed priced for the convenient location. If you just need an item or two it might be worth it, but if you plan on buying more than just a few things I would recommend driving to well to the Hanaford. The cashier also seemed not so friendly. More

My wife and I stayed at Studio East and walked into town and enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the Village Market. Breakfast we ate outside on their deck and dinner we brought back to our room. Great food, service and prices. We'll be back. More

Stopped in the Village Market to order sandwiches and sit out on the patio, and the woman behind the counter was a crusty type who wanted us to order things the "right way" , by name. I asked for a cheese, tomato, and lettuce sub for my young daughter, and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. "You... More
