Description: Katie’s is a casually elegant restaurant and lounge. Although we are in the vacation destination of Ogunquit, Katie's is anything but "tourist-y". Situated in a century-old house midway between downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, Katie's is a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle. Chef Jason Grant changes the eclectic menu every day, adding what is finest and freshest from the local farms and purveyors. The secret of Katie's is in the simple preparation of the freshest ingredients. Known for its delightful appetizers, salads and soups, Katie's divides it entrees into small plates and large plates. Each is an entree-sized portion. The small plates are more in the European tradition where the entree follows an appetizer, soup, and a salad; while the large plates are more in the American tradition where the entree can dominate the meal. At Katie's, each of you can select the tradition that appeals to you at that time.

Katie's , to me is a wannabe. Our server was very good, and tried very hard to keep us interested in their bill of fare. Unfortunately, the food does not measure up. There were 6 of us and the opinion was unanimous...not horrible, but we won't go back.

Had the "early bird" dinner last night at Katie's and enjoyed it immensely. The service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is very comfortable and relaxing. The meal started with fresh bread right out of the oven. It's the best bread I've had in any restaurant, ever. The soup -- clam chowder -- was thick, creamy, and delicious. Next was... More

Worth every penny. Every course was incredible. Lobster mac and cheese was of course rich, but incredible. The calamari appetizer was delicious and probably the best calamari I've ever had. The atmosphere is fantastic, dim lighting, we sat on the closed-in porch area looking out on shore street and towards the cove, it was beautiful. Not a place to necessarily... More

Exceptional in every way; staff, food, service, price, all the best! Lobster ravioli our favorite. So good we decided to visit Katie's twice in our 3 day visit. Other places close by recommended by motel staff, but Katie's is by far our place 3 years running! Glenn

I love Katie's. The place is very nice. It feels bright and airy, with windows all around. More importantly, the food was magnificent - prepared with fresh ingredients. I started with a great bowl of clam chowder (with lots of clam). For entree, I had lobster ravioli, which is not your typical ravioli. The lobster meat is generous and the... More

Overall appearance of this restaurant is excellent, welcoming staff. Considering the cost, menu description and our expectations, the food in general was lacking in distinct flavors...something is missing. Perhaps the lobster used to prepare most of the apps and entrees isnt freshly cooked and pulled out of the shell - maybe it comes out of a plastic container - maybe... More

Katie's has somewhat unusual locally grown food. I had an eggplant appetizer which was wonderful. Service however was slow. People for the 6:00 PM sitting finished by 7:00 but we were there for over 1 1/2 hrs and that was without dessert.

My husband and I and our two boys (5 and 8) dined here based on some recommendations. We went early since we had the kids (5:15ish). Although they had some specials that were offered until 6:00 pm, we were not offered them by our waiter. When we asked about them, he acted unaware (the menu board posted on the road... More

We really enjoyed our dinner! The space is attractive and the service was outstanding. Our waitress could not have been more accommodating. What a cozy space for our last night in Ogunquit. The fall menu has many delicious choices - the eggplant appetizer was superb! The portions are generous, including the small plates. Would definitely recommend Katie's!
