Food and service very good, noise level unacceptable, leaving the restaurant I proceeded to fall on the 2 bottom granite steps because of the lack of a guard rail. I am 80 years old and believe there should be something to hold onto for the elderly entering and exiting. All I got was a bruised elbow but it could have... More

Restaurant is cute inside, service is terrible, was standing waiting for a table for maybe ten minutes at the bar and was walked by by the bartender ten times without ever being asked if we would like drinks. And the bar was almost empty., as was the dining room so not sure why we waited ten minutes in the first... More

We went here for happy hour and had a drink and shared the tuna tartare appetizer. The drinks were pretty good - tasted a little watered down (3.99 margaritias) but the appetizer was wonderful. Next time we go I will get a regular drink. The bartender was very friendly

Simple, clean, (not fussy) and fine food served in a convenient location with parking directly across the street. Perkins Cove, a local destination, is a short walk away. We've been here a number of times prior to shows at the historic and magical Ogunquit Playhouse. Tonight, we were a bit pressed for time and the staff and food absolutely shined.... More

Had the calamari appetizer, salmon with risotto and corn then split the carrot cake for dessert. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The service and ambiance were also first rate. Of the four restaurants we tried in Ogunquit, That Place was hands down the best.

We love Rick but the menu was a little limiting. If you like beef, no problem finding something to eat. Otherwise, the menu is very sparce.

Visited That Place after reading some of the reviews and was quite pleased. The staff was friendly and service excellent, attentive. We each ordered different appetizers, calamari, onion soup and chicken crostini - all excellent. Our main entrees..lobster and Delmonico steak and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. A real treat were the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. They were... More

Stopped in to That Place tonight for a couple drinks and appetizers and was so impressed! The mussels and the calamari could not have been better. Wish we had been hungrier because I'm sure the entrees would have been just as good!

I'm glad I didn't let my suspicion of restaurants with cutesy/gimmicky names deter me from having a wonderful dinner with friends at That Place during a recent visit to Ogunquit. The contemporary space, friendly staff and exceptional assortment of seafood made That Place a dining experience that exceeded the expectations of all three members of my dinner party. We sampled... Usually like to eat at the bar because it is always a fun time. I love the calamari and the hanger steak that is always cooked to perfection for me.
