If you are in Western Maine, there is just no finer restaurant than 76 Pleasant. It is housed in a beautiful manse, and the food is extraordinary. From the first bite to the last, your tongue will do a dance in your mouth! Not only is everything delicious, it is beautifully presented...a feast for your eyes. The lamb brick when available, the scallops, the duck, most anything you choose, will tickle your taste buds. Don't expect the huge restaurant-chain portions. Portion size is sufficient and compised of... More

This was our first time at 76 Pleasant Street but have heard nothing but good things about it so we were excited to try it. There were four of us and we made reservations earlier in the week since we wanted to go on a Saturday night. When we drove up, the house was all lit up and it was... More

76 Pleasant St. has become our "go-to" restaurant for a special night out. The dinners are outstanding and memorable in both their presentation and taste. Amy is the warm and hospitable host and server, she makes you feel at home and at ease , and is helpful with suggestions for selecting food and wine pairings. We started with martini cocktails... Four of us for dinner on a frigid January evening...we sat by the fireplace and soaked in the ambience...wine list was limited but adequate...wine by the glass was served with generous portions at a fair price...our server, who owns the place with her chef husband, was excellent and spot on...we sampled an array of apps including the spinach/fried oyster salad,... I have had several dinners at this beautifully restored home/restaurant and have never been disappointed. From the wine list to the wonderful desserts, the food is carefully prepared and served along with relaxed but very efficient service and a great atmosphere.

76 Pleasant St in Norway Maine was really a find for my husband and I. The menu is varied and very inventive. A comfortable Victorian styled building with many original features. Amy is welcoming, always helpful and invariably choses the wines, always good. Amy also remembers that I like expresso after dinner. We chat about some wonderful cups that she... More

This restaurant is truly a hidden jewel in the Oxford Hills area of western Maine. It's on a side road near the main street of Norway, population about 5,000. A husband and wife team have run it for four years. It's in a beautiful old Victorian home and has two small dining rooms. The overall experience is one of intimacy... More

In small town Maine is a wonderful restaurant that makes my top 5 all time list. Amy and Brett will make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The food is presented lovingly, colorful and pleases all your senses. A great find in rural Maine, definitely make the trip.
