Docksider has been there for years and is a good simple restaurant. Good food and close to town and harbor. So you can come by boat. Nothing fancy about Docksider, good food and friendly people

We went there because the place looked cute. We had the typical lobster roll (2) with grease awful sweet potato fries, an extra corn and two drinks. We paid 60.00 US when usually you pay $14.00 for a lobster roll with a side. No going back

Was told by a Local that this was a great place to eat. When arriving at restaurant middle aged blonde waitress was very unwelcoming and treated us as if we were wasting her time. The service created a deadly silent atmosphere and made us feel very uncomfortable. She rudely slapped the menus in front of us and rhymed of the... More

Three of us had a late lunch in mid-week. Place was crowded and outside seating was sparse. Lucky to find a seat. Lobster rolls were good but pricey ($19) and come with a side choice. Clam chowder ($9.50 bowl) was OK but thin broth and not a lot of clams.

Lured by the 10% off coupon from our campground and not having my iPhone to check reviews for other places, my family unfortunately landed here, with high expectations. We were looking for lobster, what else? Not seeing a boiled lobster dinner on the menu, we were told there was one for 19.99. Husband got fish and chips, and me the... More

We've had lunch on the porch and inside at Docksider many times over the years and it's always good. My husband has a thing for their clam rolls and every time we go there, that's what he orders. I like the haddock bites or sandwich, the lobster rolls and the clam rolls. The onion straws are mouthwatering and the fries... More

My daughter ordered chicken tenders. The serving was one tender. Seriously. It was also burned. Lobster roll had too much mayo. We ordered one soda and six waters. Four waters came. We waited 15 minutes for the other two - and when we reminded the woman, she was very surly. Really? We had just dropped $80 on lunch--why was giving... More

Our party had been looking for good chowder all day and after asking the local merchants and Visitor's Center for a good place for clam chowder. Docksiders was recommended and we had a 10% coupon from our campground so we gave it a shot. The chowder was very thin. The prices were pretty high ($6.95 for a cup of their... More

This joint in Northeast Harbor may once have been a popular spot for locals and visitors, but now it's grossly overpriced and set up to lure tourists. The lobster roll does have a good bit of lobster meat, but at $19 with a side of frozen fries it costs more than at much nicer spots in Bar Harbor or even... More

We have eaten at the Dockside for years but had low expectations this year due to the Yo yo reviews. However, when in doubt order the lobster roll which they prepared for us today with plenty of meat and no fillers (ie celery). The fries were not crisp and sat a few minutes at the window while the rolls were... More
