No frills restaurant with a great view. Order at the counter and grab a table inside or out and wait for your number to be called. Soft shelled lobsters were easy to eat and delicious. Steamers and onion rings perfect. . There were also selections for the non-seafood lover of our family. Perfect spot to enjoy your Maine seafood.

Having recently had lobster at Round Pond, we opted for this informal restaurant that serves numerous seafood platters in addition to lobster. After paying $2 extra (and $18.95 total) to have scallops included with my haddock platter, it arrived with all of 4 small scallops and probably a 5-6 ounce portion of haddock, plus fries and cole slaw. The small... More

Your lobster was probably in a trap just off the coast near Shaws dock within a day or so of appearing on your table. So anyone that is a locavore will be very pleased. The view is nice over the working harbour. The restaurant is very basic and clean. Don't expect fancy service. But we enjoyed our meal.

I visited Shaws last week and for the second time in hte past year I was disappointed with the food. My daughter had a Cajun shrimp salad which was basically cold fried breaded shrimp dipped in hot sauce and placed on a not so good salad. My baked potato was grey in the middle as if it had been sitting... More

Once again great lobster and seafood with a great view of the water. They have a bar with music some nights and picnic tables inside or out on the upper deck.

We detoured off the main highway to visit the Pemaquid Point lighthouse… on the way back to the highway, we headed into New Harbor for dinner at Shaw's (thank you TripAdvisor!). The lobster rolls were very good, the lobster was… lobster, and the clam chowder was not the best we had in Maine, but it was good. We loved the... More

A no frills restaurant overlooking the harbor. Cafeteria style. Good prices. I had the lazy man's lobster ($25.99). There is a raw bar downstairs where my husband got oysters ($2 each). Place your order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Eat inside or outside on the deck while watching the lobstermen unload their boats. I'd... More

Nothing to dislike! Good hamburgers, good fish chowder, good beer, noisy gulls, pleasant families, Hardy boats docking and taking off; a Maine place.

A fun and funky lobster joint - the place to get down and dirty to eat a lobster (or two). Plenty of tables, inside and out, but expect to stand in line. Its worth a trip!

This place is pretty busy. We came on a Thursday night and it was hoping. My wife and I ordered the lobster pie. It was fine, but the portions were pretty small, and frankly I was disappointed. I expected it to be a bit more "lobstah" for the money. They get the food out pretty quickly, though. Next time I... More
