Coming from the Midwest, we have trouble finding really fresh lobster in local restaurants. Shaw"s was great with fresh local lobsters coming in almost daily. Prices were very reasonable. A lobster with coleslaw and a roll was only $16.95. We also tried the lobster stew, which was delicious. This is a really great place for lobster lovers. They also have... More

Eating fresh seafood from their deck over looking the cove at New Harbor can't be beat. You may even get to see a lobster boat unloading the catch of the day.

Shaw's was recommended by a lady I got talking to at Pemaquid Point. She was not wrong. This is a basic cafe, actually, but the clam chowder was the best I have ever had. The USA has discovered Cider (hooray! the alcoholic kind) we even had a choice of varieties. We were lucky that the day was sunny, so we... More

Shaw's is the local place we go to first when we get here. Fresh lobster, good local beer and one of those onion blossoms! Oh man we look forward every year to this meal. You might have to wait for an inside table, it can get pretty cold on October, but it's worth the wait. This spot closes sometime over... More

When it was Small Bros. we made a point to have lobster dinner. Now on our way to Pemaquid we stop for lunch. The lobster rolls don't compare to Red's Eats in Wiscasset as a friend pointed out but there is usually not a long line for lunch and I love the view. The prices were in line with other... More

For anyone who knows Young's Lobster Shack in Belfast, Maine, you would think that it would be difficult to find better lobster rolls. Until you chance to go to Shaw's, perhaps for lunch after visiting Pemaquid Point. Their lobster rolls are as good if not better, with plenty of good, solid lobster meat. Not cheap but not over-priced either. Typical... More

Went to Shaws on a recommendation. Ordered the lobster dinner (whole lobster, slaw and a roll) It was $17.99way overpriced. Although the lobster was 1 lb plus, the tail was about 4 oz. and tough. I would not return. I feel we got ripped off.

We went to this place on our visit of Pemaquid point. We were hungry, and were not disappointed: plates are large and tasty, sea food is very fresh. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, and the views over the harbor are great! It was too cold to have lunch outside, but we've made nice photos after our lunch!

We always make it a point to visit Shaws to eat and more importantly to view and enjoy watching the lobster boats unloading their catch. The scenery is unberatable.

Good food. Crowded when Hardy Boat returns from Monhegan at 4:30. Price of lobster roll was high by comparison. Within walking distance of center of New Harbor
