Rustic atmosphere, but good lobster and fun to watch the boats. A bit pricey for the doubles, but worth it since they are so fresh.

Went for dinner at the end of a trip. Ordered "fresh haddock". Tasted like old cardboard. Returned it for another fish. Then was told the haddock was frozen. DO ASK what is fresh when ordering..and if the sign says "FRESH FISH"..then it should be FRESH! Be ware.

We heard a lot of great reviews about the place, so we were excited to try it out, but were very disappointed. Maybe it was just that night that things were off but we weren't impressed for how expensive it was. Steaks way over cooked and lobster roll didn't sit well with my husband. Calamari was very chewy. Moms swordfish... More

I visited Shaw's with family for lunch. I had the lobster roll. It was terrific. Meaty and fresh tasting. It was great fun to watch the boats come and go as we ate. This is a very beautiful spot, easy to get to from Boothbay Harbor. Well worth the drive.

Freshest seafood around and in a great location! Great for families, couples, anybody looking to eat spectacularly fresh seafood on the Maine coast.

We had Lobster Rolls, Fried Clam Rolls and French Fries. The Clams were he best fried clams we have ever had. The lobster was absolutely tasteless and very disappointing. The French fries were excellent. It was a chilly day but for some reason the outdoor tables were set up and paper towels were blowing around everywhere. There seems to bd... More

After touring Pemaquid Point and area, we came here for lunch. We had delicious fried clams, onion rings and a fried haddock sandwich. We sat outside on picnic tables overlooking the wharf with lobster boats unloading...it was a fun day in Maine on the water in this beautiful area. And the food was great. Fast service and good beer too.

While visiting friends, we ate lobster dinners from Shaw's twice. We chose to take them home, and they made that so very easy - everything was well-packed in an easy to carry large cardboard box which was so much easier than carrying things in bags. The lobsters were delicious as were the side items. The restaurant itself is large with... More

We make the trip here annually on our vacation in Maine. The lobster is typically fairly priced ( 2.7 lb and 1.6lb for 63$) and they have options for non-seafood eaters as well-- I recommend the buffalo chicken salad and the bloomin' onion. Usually is always busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor tends to be much more crowded... More

We live in Maine and go here several times a year, the restaurant overlooks a working lobster wharf. If you are from away and looking for a seafood meal and don't mind a scenic ride to New Harbor, this is the place!
