great service

We went on a Sunday afternoon. We were a group of 6. Our waitress was nice and patient with us. The food was good we all had something different.

Full disclosure I reviewed this place a while ago and loved it. I have been here a number of times and in the past it earned its top ranking. Murphy (the guy behind the bar that ran the place) is gone. And well, it appears to be slipping back a bit. We arrive at 7:10 on a Wednesday. There are... More

Went looking for a restaurant open on Monday night that was close. The reviews on trip advisor sounded good so we figured we'd give it a try. Started out pretty bad. Hostess/bartender/waitress said she'd get a table ready for us then presided to take a couple of bar orders and serve a table. We finally got seated and waited 15... More

We've been coming to Black Bear for three years now as summer residents. Recently we swung by at the start of camping season, only to find that there are not very many options for lighter fare.....in particular the delicious flatbread pizza. I had overheard that the pizza oven was moved to make space for more tables. Well, we probably won't... More

I am so happy to have found a great pub finally. Get there right when they open cause they get busy fast! Food came fast and was wonderful. Wine list was great but most importantly the Guinness was awesome. The music made me think I was back in Ireland and made the night. Lovely night, this celtic girl will be... More

There was live music, fast service, friendly folks. My husband liked the pork he had and my burger was huge and taste the best I have had in a long time.

We go to the Black Bear Cafe every summer when we visit Naples. I was reluctant at first because we have kids and it's definitely a bar, but we went for it. The seafood there is DELICIOUS. Seriously, I actually sent my compliments to the chef. The breadsticks they serve to everyone are also good. The tables are tight, so... More

Thank you so much for sharing your awesome feedback and delighted to know that you and your family enjoyed your visits to the Black Bear. During the summer season, it can get a bit cozy, and so we are adding additional seating, via a Snug, which will be a smaller eating area separated from the main dining area, and perhaps... More

Stopped in for supper on Friday night after Thanksgiving. Good live music, great service, and the food is comfort food with a twist and REALLY well done. I had grilled pork loin with garlic mashed and it was outstanding. Hubby had the shepherd's pie with sweet potato mashed instead of the usual and it was delicious. No room for dessert,... More

This is the little Irish Pub that my husband and I go to for a well poured pint of Guinness and good food. Most Friday and Saturday nights there is a bit of music as well and a few sing-a-longs are not uncommon! It doesn't open until 4pm and is usually packed by 7. Great little place! Enjoy!
