Nice Irish Pub

Very good Irish pub. Menu is varied and the food is very well prepared. Nice vibe to the place. Will return many times.

Pleasant "Irish" pub with a decent menu (but not as good as it used to be!) and get the impression that owners are struggling.

We went with our 3 little kids and got seated right next to the musician. We were worried either we would disrupt him or him us, but it worked out great. Fun music, really good food, fun place. Everything was good, but the shepherds pie was outstanding. Not traditional, definitely a higher class version. Excellent.

The Black Bear not only has great food but also wonderful Irish musicians on weekends. Their fish and chips is the best around the area. Although it is small inside it is cozy and one can usually find a seat at the bar. John and Susan, the owners, are wonderful hosts and John, from Ireland, can often be found cooking... More

I recently ate at BBC for the first time with my parents, who are regulars, and my two children. After several recommendations, my mother ordered the shepherds pie and agreed it was delicious. I ordered the baked haddock. I thought my fish was wonderful and loved the mashed potatoes and swiss chard with it. My daughters ordered off of the... More

We love the Black Bear ! A great place to sit a the bar, have the boneless wings and a Smithwicks. We so missed the little pizza end bread sticks that always came to the table and the pizza! Our party enjoyed the fish and chips as always, the steak frites and the Statler chicken but the prime rib special... More

Everything I ate at the bear was a total Mouthgasm. It's hands down the best food ever. The service was wonderful and the music is awesome. Its my favorite little pub. If your in Naples you gotta taste it for yourself.

We go here to eat every night when we are in Maine for vacation. The food was extremely delicious, with my particular favorite being the Statler chicken. The Cesar salad was delightful, and full of flavor. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with the hosts and staff treating their patrons like family.

WOW, what a great review. Thank you so much. I will share this with our staff, front of the house and back of the house, who work hard to make sure we are delivering. It is always a summer highlight to see our annual visitors during our high season. Thank you for your continued patronage and we hope to have... More

Have been for dinner twice in the last year. First time took forever and my pork was like leather and my wife's chicken was raw. Second time a similar situation took a long time for the food to arrive and my pizza was burnt and cold and my parents meals so-so. Not the best place around for a good meal.

I am not sure when you might have been in as we haven't served pizza since 2014. It is disappointing when our fare does not meet the expectations of a customer as we strive to deliver good food, good service and good music. And when something goes wrong or we drop the ball, we work even harder to make sure... More

The BBC is a delight to all of the senses, the warm, welcoming environment walking in the door, colorfully plated entree's, and the out of this world brownie sundae, nothing but the best!
