Stopped in for supper on Friday night after Thanksgiving. Good live music, great service, and the food is comfort food with a twist and REALLY well done. I had grilled pork loin with garlic mashed and it was outstanding. Hubby had the shepherd's pie with sweet potato mashed instead of the usual and it was delicious. No room for dessert,... More

This is the little Irish Pub that my husband and I go to for a well poured pint of Guinness and good food. Most Friday and Saturday nights there is a bit of music as well and a few sing-a-longs are not uncommon! It doesn't open until 4pm and is usually packed by 7. Great little place! Enjoy!

The Braised Lamb Shank was just perfect.. so meaty and flavorful and the accompanying orzo though it sounded plain was perfectly seasoned and a wonderful accompaniment. My dining partners had the pork loin. They both mentioned that while their dishes were good the pork was a little overdone. Future customers might mention that to their server when ordering. Three of... More

Thank you so much for choosing the Black Bear and sharing your feedback. Regarding the noise, we are currently adding more seating, that will be a bit removed from the entertainment, and anticipate this to be ready by February 2015. During the season 'quiet nights' are most Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and during the other season, we offer music Friday and... More

We were looking for relaxing pub fare and their new fall menu is a step above. The Fall Mussels with apple cider broth were delicious. My wife had the lamb shank and it was awesome. I had the shepherd's pie with a sweet potato mash that very tasty and cooked perfectly.

This cozy pub on route 302 in Naples has atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. The shepherd's pie is outstanding. Heaping platter of calamari with tangy banana peppers is perfect with a glass of Smithwicks. Haddock is fresh and tasty. Enjoyed some fun local musicians one night--just like pub experiences we had in Ireland! Closed Tuesdays, but we went back... More

Given that bears became extinct in Ireland about a thousand years ago, this is a curious name for an Irish pub. That aside, it's a great spot for food, drink and music. During the high season they have music nightly, mostly at least Irish-influenced. The night we were there Jud Caswell performed on guitar, banjo, cittern (a cool, funky 5... More

The early bird special are the best. The Haddock is to die for. The pizzas are also very good. Nice choices, not the normal every day run of the mill food. Great ambiance, Good selection of Beers, Irish and domestic.

Excellent spot for a good pint, live music and great food. What more do you need. Been here many times over the past few years, pub pizzas are great, the chowder is excellent. A good pint of Guinness outside of Ireland is hard to come by, they have a great pint of the black stuff here.

We were second to arrive at this restaurant, and hadn't booked. We were told they could fit us, so yes at down, placed our order for a starter and main dish. Unbeknown to us they had taken a larger booking and had messed up on numbers, so part way through out main course they started moving tables around. We courtesy... More
