Incredible lobster rolls!

So surprised by this place. At first approach its an average typical place, located behind a gas station. It was a clean and friendly with a good menu claiming amazing lobster rolls. I ordered their specialty which was the lemon lobster roll and it was outstanding. You got a ton of lobster meat... read more

We live in the area and were looking for a new place to try out for dinner. We read some good reviews for The Galley and decided to give it a try. We arrived about 7:00 pm. We stood awhile by the "wait to be seated" sign. Waitresses bustled by us, but no one acknowledged our presence for about 5... More

We went here two years ago and the lobster rolls were quite good. We were planning our night and after a late lunch - decided to do some other activities and have a late dinner - checking on website that they were open until 10 PM. Unfortunately - when we arrived @ 9:05 we were told that after 9 PM... More

While visiting the area for a week, we ate at the Galley twice. We would have gone a third time, but the wait was too long. They are known for their lobster and crab rolls, which can be prepared a number of different ways. I had the lobster rolls both times-overloaded with meaty lobster. The waitstaff is very friendly and... More

Went tonight for dinner, 4 people. Seated in 15 minutes, Food was great, slow to arrive but worth the wait. Good service, clean and quick - we were approaching closing time . Had a hot butter lobster roll- amazing, and fries of the day which were hot and good. A good meal, fairly expensive. " market price' for lobster got... More

Unbelievable Poor Service. The wait was amazingly long which was made worse by there saying it would be a fifteen minute wait. Ninety minutes later we were served. Food is good but it is not particularly special. Definitely not going back.

We were told 45 min wait for a party of 9 and were seated in 20 (yeah). The lemon lobster roll was yummers as were the fried clams. The roll had plenty of lobster, the clams had bellies and were sweet. Sweet potato fries were well done which is how I like. My daughter ordered wings which I liked but... More

A great place to eat. The service was good the bacon scallop pizza was excellent, along with the shrimp and scallop pasta that the wife had. Will go out of my way to eat here again if ever in Maine again.
