Still thinking about it the next day!

Had dinner there last night. The staff was gracious, setting beautiful on a warm summer evening, but the food was the star! Started with a salad - crabmeat and avocado topped with smoked salmon all on delicate greens. It was delicious! Followed with the lamb - I don't know anyone who does it... read more

We were planning a special occasion and that made us realize that we hadn't dined at the Youngtown Inn for a while. Standards remain as high as ever; the rare and special celebration for five went perfectly thanks to spending a great time at the Inn.

Off the beaten path....you definitely have to plan to go there or be hopelessly lost. Menu is ok and so is the food. Just not exceptional.

We came to Maine five years ago for the lobster. Besides the lobster, we were lucky enough to find the Youngtown Inn. We now split our time each year, two nights lobster, two nights at the Youngtown Inn. We have never been disappointed. This evening my wife and I both had the scallops in pesto sauce over linguini. The scallops... More

A true treasure of a dining experience hidden along the off-beaten path in Maine. If you love genuine French country fare with a side of sophistication, definitely eat here! We chose the prix fixe option. Each dish was beautifully presented, seasoned perfectly, bringing joy to each of my senses. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, never hovering yet available. It's delightful... More

This is our "go to" restaurant. Food is excellent, they even have escargot! Service is friendly and low key. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Yougtown Inn is a nicely renovated farmhouse about five miles from Camden. The owners are a French chef and his American wife. The atmosphere is semi-formal and pleasant. The food and service are good, however, the portions are small and the prices are high. By the time you get home, you'll be ready to eat something else.

With no family to celebrate Fathers Day near by a friend and I took our husbands to Youngtown Inn Restaurant for dinner. It was a win, win decision. Not only was the meal outstanding but the service (thank you Irene) was amazing.

We met friends here for dinner last night. On the drive home the guys were still talking about how wonderful the food was and making plans to come back soon. From the lobster bisque to the Soufflé each dish was so good and the presentation was lovely. Our waitress Irene was attentive checking on us through out the meal and... More
