Great food and a charming inn

We stayed at the Youngtown Inn and had a marvelous dinner. The lamb chops were superb and my husband's swordfish was the best he has ever had (and we eat a lot of swordfish). My wife and I dined at the Youngtown Inn Restaurant on our recent trip to Maine and we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service. Mary Ann Mercier and her husband Manuel have been pleasing patrons for over 24 years and she personally visited our table to thank us for choosing her restaurant. Mary... More

This was our third visit to the Inn, this time for our anniversary dinner, and it left us anticipating our next visit. The server was friendly, attentive , and knowledgeable. The owner welcomed all the guests and it was delightful to speak with her and our server. The Inn is only a few minutes from Camden, but it feels like... More

Staying in Lincolnville, the Youngtown Inn Restaurant was recommended. We were impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, but more so to the preparation of the food. It was superb. How can a restaurant, located in the mid coast be so wonderful? The chef is fabulous. This deserves a repeat visit the next time we are in the area.

If you are in the midcoast area and looking for restaurant for a special occasion or just want to treat yourself to something special, look no further than the Youngstown Inn Restaurant. The food and service is outstanding and our waiter Michael(who has worked here over 25 years) made the entire service special. They offer a Chef`s four course menu... More

Delightful civilized dining in an attractive setting with knowledgeable and attentive service. No need to dress up (this is Maine!) but the food would merit top of the line dining in a city. The rack of lamb was outstanding as were the desert soufflés. Don't miss this place!

We dined here two of the three nights we recently spent in Maine - we wish we had gone all three nights, the food and experience is that good. It's a lovely 12 minute drive from Lincolnville or Camden to this lovely New England Inn, yet feels a world away. The owner, is friendly and welcoming and we really enjoyed... More

My wife Lee and I had dinner, spent the night, and left for our home a few miles up the coast next morning. We both enjoy good food and are well enough experienced to know the difference between pretense and the real McCoy. I don't remember having a better meal -- a few as good, but again, none better. Breakfast... More

We found this lovely Inn a year ago, while on vacation near Belfast. It was a short drive and a beautiful drive. We have not stayed there, but we have dined in their restaurant twice. The quality of their fare and service is impeccable. It is the kind of place you can come to after a day of hiking, or... More

Had dinner there last night. The staff was gracious, setting beautiful on a warm summer evening, but the food was the star! Started with a salad - crabmeat and avocado topped with smoked salmon all on delicate greens. It was delicious! Followed with the lamb - I don't know anyone who does it better! The gently cooked carrots, pea pods... More
