Happy To Have A Place Like This..

We went for our annual St Paddy's Day Dinner. ( only wished they had some traditional Irish music! ) The room makes you fee like you are in an old English pub. Armindy, our waitress was friendly and efficient which make for a pleasant evening ! My lamb with baked potato and a side of... read more

Visiting from Rhode Island. Had a delicious seafood dish with my wife, brother and his wife. Great service from Hopper, our waitress. Will certainly return here when we visit Lincolnville in the fall.

The original destination we wanted to go to was seasonally closed-- found this and tried it... Had haddock sandwich and calamari roll-- food was decent and good-in season pry much better atmosphere . Service was average at best and was expected But decent ! Okay place!

To start, the pale ale from Andrews Brewery tasted very watered down.Labatt blue beer they serve there which happened to be nearly $2 cheaper had more flavor than the pale ale. The mac and cheese that we were told was excellent had no flavor to it and at $11.95 was a waste of money. The staff was not very friendly... More

This was a cozy little pub with a great view and wonderful staff. The food was excellent as well, with a good variety.

I used to really love the Whale's Tooth, but the last few times it has been a bit of a disappointment for me. The first disappointment was in December when I went with some friends. I knew better than to venture out of my comfort zone, but after the waitress raved about the Thai chicken, I just had to try... More

I loved visiting this place, twice during our stay in Maine. I had lobster one night and a seafood mornay type bake that was just delicious. Service was great. Loved the beautiful fire in the restaurant - created a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend visiting!

Been on and off customer since the beginning. Owners have always seemed ambivalent. Kitchen is a mad house during busy times, so food is slow and has become difficult to eat as time has gone by. So I stopped. You may love it. Fireplace room is quite the eye candy and the ocean view seating can impress, if the bugs... More

Super Bowl Sunday in chilly Maine. I had not been to the Whales Tooth in almost three years. It is still a wonderful place to dine. We got there just before the super bowl started. There were two large TV's to see the game. Unless you want to view the great West Penobscot Bay, request a table by the huge... More
