This year round special place deserves a stop over for lunch or dinner. My favorite is dinner outside at sunset - you can spit in the ocean (please don't because they swim nearby!) The owners work hard to make you feel welcome - However, just sit near the fireplace that takes FOUR FOOT logs, order a local microbrew called ANDREWS... More

Where you go when you want a GREAT meal! Mine is there Sirloin Steak!!! Minimum 2" thick and cooked to your liking! Mine, Medium Rare! Have been coming here for close to 20 years and we're never disappointed! Open year round too! For the husband, he had his favorite "Fish & Chips"! They also serve lunch too. All the more... More

We were heading back to our resort from a day of roaming around Maine and seen a sign outside the pub saying Happy Hour Specials, and we decided to check it out since we were just heading back to hang out anyway. It's a small place right on the water with a dirt parking lot, when you walk in you... More

If everything else is closed depending on season and or day ot the week but food is mediocre. Order either a burger or a lobster, beer or a drink. Very casual.

We stopped in on a rainy night, heading from Rockland north to home. The dining area is cozy, comfortable, and with a fabulous view of the water - or so we think since it was after dark and raining. However, having seen the same view in the daylight we stand by our first comment. Our waitress, Armindy, was wonderful, knowledgable,... More

I went there for dinner with my fiancee as it was close to the cabin that we rented for the weekend. The food was just ok. The waitress forgot to bring my french fries with my entree and I had leave my table and ask for it 15 minutes after getting my entree. I ask her to take a picture... More

If I lived within 5 miles of the Whale's Tooth I would be in nightly! Great choice of food and beers in a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Sitting in front of a massive log fire on a Fall evening by the sea eating better ribs than I had throughout the South - it doesn't get any better!

I thought I had already written a review - but - oops, guess not! I've been to Whale's Tooth a number of times. Each one of the visits was really memorable. The combination of truly well prepared food, friendly and efficient service - and of course, good company made for memorable dining experiences. The 'ambience' is exceptional. Although I've yet...
