good, rustic, beautiful views

Lobster was delicious and the picnic area overlooking the water and the boats was beautiful. More expensive then I expected, though

One of the things I really appreciated about McLaughlin's is the fact that it offered an authentic atmosphere for a truly great lobster roll. I was a little surprised that some folks didn't have the positive experience I had. To be honest, the roll had the freshest, most tender lobster I've found for a place like this. There was a... Drove past on the way from Portland to Bar Harbor. Fish sandwich was ok, prefer a saltier batter. Lobster was pre-cracked which was nice! Meat was kinda small. Was$27 for 1.25 lb lobster and fish sandwich. Eh

We stumbled across this seafood shack on the return home. The place has picnic tables outside and you can bring your dogs and sit by the water. You can watch the lobster boats come in and leave. Your going to pay the price for any seafood along the coast. The service was slow but well worth the wait. Several menu... More

This restaurant is easy to find off Route One on 12 McKay Rd. in Lincolnville, Maine. It is right off the seashore. You can eat inside or outside where there were there are many picnic tables. Seagulls are everywhere! It is very informal on the inside. The menu is listed on the upper wall. A large variety of seafood dishes... More

We had the Clam platter - a bit price ant 29.95. The flavors were all a bit under spiced. The fries were good. The coating on the clams was a bit bland. The seasoning in the floe slaw was unusual and the cornbread was blah. It was very clean and the staff very pleasant. It is right on the water... More

Gorgeous nearly-fall day in Lincolnville so we ate outside at McLaughlin's. Terrific food, fast service, good value.

Nice place! Casual, clean, friendly service and delicious food! Lobster rolls & onion rings were just what we wanted! Right on the water. We will definitely eat here again!

very good lobster roll on a 12" !!! roll. just the right taste and the long roll means the lobster is not falling out at every bite. very nice staff. bright airy (kind of like outside) place overlooking the beach

If you're looking for a true, Maine lobster shack experience put this on your list. This "lobster shack" sits right in a small harbor with a beautiful view. Sit outside on their clean picnic tables and eat the freshest lobster you'll find. The staff is ultra-friendly. This was as fine a stop as we had in our trip to Maine
