Nice spot in the area of LIncolnville

Nice little spot for Lobster and other items. Right next to Lincolnville's sandy beach area. Its a typical Lobster pound type of place. Trays, plastic utensils and such. Its not fancy - which is sometimes what you want. Had the fish and chips and its was tasty. I didn't have it but the Lobster... read more

Great serve yourself place. We came here for dinner. The place has a very basic Spartan interior, but very excellent food. You order and pick up at the lunch counter from an extensive menu of seafood options. I thought the chowder was a bit light weight, on the thin side, the fried clams however were very good, the slaw was... More

My friends who have visited Maine all told me to be sure to go to a lobster pound for the best, freshest, and cheapest lobster. They were right. Tasty lobster, good beer, and it all came with a fabulous view!!!

We always come here with our grandkids, who are all at a rambunctious age. There are plenty of items on the menu that they'll eat and lots of things for them to do while waiting for our order: the near-by beach, the rocky shore next to the restaurant, watching the Islesboro Ferry come and go, etc., and all within view... Stopped on a road trip to Bar Harbor. This place is next to a fishing pier. The prices were up there for the food they listed but we were on vaca so we went for it. Onion rings, fried clams, and fried chicken. There was no seasoning in the batter so it all was pretty tasteless. The batter seemed to... More

After eating at McLoughlins (Lobster Shack) restaurant for OVER 30 years...I can safely, easily, and confidently say that their fried haddock filet sandwich is the best I have had anywhere, in Maine, or in New England. In fact, my daughter loves these so much that she asked Rick (McLoughlin) if she could have her wedding rehearsal dinner there! LOL !... More

A great take out place with good food. The onion rings are delicious, and you can always get a good ice cream cone. Walk over, get some take out and enjoy the ocean while you eat.

My wife and I visited on October 24, 2014 for lunch. I had a lobster roll, and my wife had a salad. Both were average, but rather high priced. The service was very nice, helpful and polite. I would not visit again as there are better values in the area.

The seafood platter needs another pinch of salt. Clam chowder is sold out! Come on! You've been falling in long line and no clam chowder.
