Awesome desserts. My fav is white cake with white frosting, or white cake/choc frosting. I don't love the chicken pie - i pick it up at Hannaford instead. Raspberry clouds are heaven, as well as the mini pastries. My only complaint - I can't get thru the door and I'm begin asked if I can be helped. I just wanna... More

I recently did "long distance" business with this bakery. My husband and I live in Houston, TX. He has been going up to Lewiston, Maine for business (off and on) these past 2 months. I suddenly realized that he would be spending his birthday up there and did a search for bakeries. I called them the morning of his birthday... More

I have been here a few times and I am always impressed with the quality and value I get when I come here. I've had pastries, whoopie pies, cakes, bulkie rolls, and more and it has all been delicious and better priced than the grocery stores. If you need some special desserts or just cake that looks good and tastes... More

Every year I make the 45 minute drive to get my birthday cake! This place has THE best cake! Since I only eat cake once a year, it has to be Grants. The people behind the counter are always so friendly and helpful. And they offer to do just about anything. They have so many other wonderful baked goods, but... More

The title says it all. The cake and frosting are just right and a perfect combination of sweet. I stop in to buy a slice or to pick up cakes and treats for the family or events. If you're a fan of chocolate, try the lava cake. If you're a chocolate chip cookie fan, give'm a try!

As horrible as it may sound for me to say this, but forget prozac! Grant's baked goods can cheer me up and make a bad day seem like nothing with just a bite of any one of their desserts. I went in tonight with my kids, figuring they deserved a treat, and came home with a small cake for after... More

Go here if you want the best cannoli you'll ever eat. I am a frequent customer of grant's and typically buy the beans and hotdogs on Saturday. Beans are to die for. Don't forget the rolls. Their bread is so doughy and amazing. I have never had anything that was short of perfection from this bakery. 5 stars!

After a really sub-par wedding cake experience at a bakery closer to my venue, I visited Don at Grant's Bakery to get my wedding cake. I was a little unsure at first, because their big book of wedding cake ideas had pictures that were ALL from the 1980's, and they looked super dated. I didn't want the white pillar things,... More
