Fish Bones is always one of our back up places to go for dinner. Always great food and service. Started the evening with the mussels which were excellent and then had the caprese salad which was also good. Dinner was the Maine Lobster & Porcini Mushroom Sacchetti which was absolutely amazing! There was a ton of lobster meat and the... More

I've been here a few times for different occasions and enjoyed each visit. It is inviting and warm, along with good food and service. This is one of the nicer restaurants in the area which leads to the other comments of higher pricing. Located in an old renovated mill area gives and added touch.

Located in an old mill, interesting building which adds to the pleasant ambience. Good range of beers and a good menu, but the food is a little more expensive than is normal, just about worth it. Would go back, but not regularly.

The old brick interior provides a warm and cosy atmosphere. Since I was alone I had a table for 2 against a wall. For the main course I had Porcini Sachetti with several different kinds of mushrooms, greens, and garlic/rosemary spices. It was an outstanding vegetarian dish. Lobster Bisque and Cheddar Apple tart were also good. I did eat too... More

While menu was not extensive, it included a nice variety and all of the food was very good. Duck tenders were unique and quite tasty. Local beers were available to complement a full list of domestic and imports. Wine list was reasonable but certainly not lengthy. Prices were modest especially considering the quality of the food. I would return if... More

My hosts brought my travelling companions and me to this delightful steakhouse where we ate well and enjoyed the atmosphere. My meal, "Maine lobster and porcini mushroom sacchetti" was absolutely to die for! Everyone else had "Land and sea," a surf-and-turf dish that looked just as good. I was disappointed that the bar was out of their local microbrewed beers,... More

Opportunities for fine dining in downtown Lewiston-Auburn have been virtually non-existent and understandably so, given that these two resolutely blue collar twin cities have been on the economic ropes since the mills closed more than a half century ago. That said, these cities seem to be on the verge of a comeback of sorts, and perhaps the time for more... More

Start off with one of their excellent flat breads. I really like the potato wrapped haddock. The "old mill" location provides the atmosphere that complements the superior food. Don't miss this place.
