I liked everything about this restaurant. It was recommended by staff at the Hampton Inn down the street. We were given great service from the moment we walked in to the excellent food and wine choices. I would not hesitate to go again.

I came here on a recommendation from a colleague and it ended up being such a great place. I will for sure end up coming back here on my next trip for work. I had the panko haddock and it was awesome. Great portions. Good bar. And a really nice staff. The bartender was great. Here's a tip: if you... More

Have been coming here each year since it opened. The food is so well prepared with a changing menus with great twists on the old standbys. The waitstaff is attentive yet giving you lots of space. A large square table sits in the middle to accommodate large parties in an intimate setting. Good beers and adequate wine list for your... More

We should have realized that arriving without a reservation at a popular fish place at 7:00 PM on the Friday evening of long weekend when there’s an event in town was a risk. We didn’t, and the restaurant was full, but we were happily escorted to the bar where we found comfortable stools and cold draft beer. Lobster rangoons were... More

As part of a large party, we had an excellent server (regret I do not remember her name). She knew the menu and sold it well, and was attentive. But, visiting Maine for the first time in a very long time, was very disappointed there was no lobster dish on the menu. They had lobster on the menu at some... More

We were 24 golfers (aged 40-50's) who were from Montreal, Boston and Maine. This was our second time at this restaurant. Our first experience (2012) was excellent and this second visit was just as good. This establishment has an great atmosphere, and a menu selection and food quality that rivals any in Montreal and Boston (where one would pay 30%... More

I'm back again for still another review of Fish Bones. For lunch today I had Panko baked haddock. Haddock was cooked perfectly, but the fish was overloaded with panko breadcrumbs. I like panko & cook with same frequently. Today the panko actually overpowered the star of the dish, the haddock. Another problem was the stacking. On the bottom were extremely... More

This was a wonderful meal. I went with my family for dinner. We made reservations online but had to wait about 5 minutes. While we waited, they served us our drinks. The atmosphere is very nice but still somewhat casual. The food was amazing! Everyone loved both their meals and drinks. Based on the quality of the food, the prices... More

Anyone who knows Lewiston, or almost anywhere inland, Maine knows that its tough to find somewhere good to eat. Fish Bones stretches its menu well-beyond fish and makes for a great lunch spot. I went with family and we collectively had a vegetarian wrap, pad thai, and a couple of haddock plates. The pescatarians said their fish was very fresh... More
