We were 24 golfers (aged 40-50's) who were from Montreal, Boston and Maine. This was our second time at this restaurant. Our first experience (2012) was excellent and this second visit was just as good. This establishment has an great atmosphere, and a menu selection and food quality that rivals any in Montreal and Boston (where one would pay 30%... More

I'm back again for still another review of Fish Bones. For lunch today I had Panko baked haddock. Haddock was cooked perfectly, but the fish was overloaded with panko breadcrumbs. I like panko & cook with same frequently. Today the panko actually overpowered the star of the dish, the haddock. Another problem was the stacking. On the bottom were extremely... More

This was a wonderful meal. I went with my family for dinner. We made reservations online but had to wait about 5 minutes. While we waited, they served us our drinks. The atmosphere is very nice but still somewhat casual. The food was amazing! Everyone loved both their meals and drinks. Based on the quality of the food, the prices... More

Anyone who knows Lewiston, or almost anywhere inland, Maine knows that its tough to find somewhere good to eat. Fish Bones stretches its menu well-beyond fish and makes for a great lunch spot. I went with family and we collectively had a vegetarian wrap, pad thai, and a couple of haddock plates. The pescatarians said their fish was very fresh... More

We were visiting my in-laws and my son-in-laws was taking my partner out for Father's Day dinner. Love the old warehouse decor and dining was at its best! Don't get it confused with BoneFish, it is certainly nothing compared to this chain restaurant. The food was very good and the Wait staff truly professional. I highly recommend trying it out... More

Pan seared duck breast in a pomegranate reduction with smashed sweet potatoes, blueberry butter, feta and bacon is to die for! Love the decor which is like the interior of a ship with lots of dark wood and crisp white linen sails. The prices were extremely reasonable for the excellent fare.

I visited Fish Bone American Grill for lunch on a week day; I was part of a small party in the private party room behind the bar. The decor and ambiance of this restaurant is warm and welcoming, and successfully incorporates elements of its mill factory history and tradition. While our server was friendly, the service itself was slow. The... More

We recently had dinner at Fish Bones. It was 2 couples celebrating our son's birthday. It was the first time for all of us. The place was very busy, as it was Bates graduation weekend, but we had a reservation and were seated promptly. There is a parking lot right out front, which is nice. Service was attentive but not...
