Fun experience

Went for the Baxter tapping had some great beer and specialty drinks accompanied by tasty food. The drink menu is probably the most interesting around. My favorite place to go for drinks and a bite.

I've lived in Lewiston/Auburn my entire life (minus my college years) and I have tried many restaurants over that time in this area. The best food in terms of quality and flavor comes from here. It is pricier than Sam's, Pat's or some other low to mid-ranged restaurant, but if you want the best you have to pay a little... More

Our group of six arrived a little early for our 7 pm reservation and there were only two customers and both at the bar. We thought, "uh oh this is not a good sign." Slowly the place filled and when we left it was full. Our group mostly ordered crepes. The lobster and crab crepes were delicious. The chicken not... More

four of us dined the eve of October 17...our first visit but my daughter who goes to college in Lewiston had been there and raved about it. the dining area is small but really cozy with pillowed booth seating here and there and a friendly, mellow wait staff. prices were reasonable and we really liked the small but varied menu....it's... The reviews and photos looked and sounded very different from what we actually experienced. Perhaps it is a better lunch spot vs dinner? The food was just ok, and overpriced for what you got. Very small samples of what you ordered. The best part of the dinner was our bartender/dishwasher! he was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. I... More

I was there Friday, September 18. I arrived about 11:30 and so I was their first customer and sat at the bar. My server was low-key, never smiled but did his job. I ordered the ½ sandwich and soup. The soup turned out to be Tomato Basil, which was disappointing. It reminded me of pizza sauce, thick and consisting of... More

Food was exceptional. Especially liked that the ingredients were fresh Maine sourced from local suppliers. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful dining experience.

With a group of 10 Marche' came through with flying colors! Waitress was great, craft cocktails and wine selection were top notch, starters were varied and great to share with a group, and main course and desserts followed suit. We were given a large table in the rear and it was perfect for an enjoyable business dinner. Next time I... More

Just arrived at Auburn, walked over the bridge of the Androscoggin River into Lewiston, in the rain, jet lagged, desperate for a meal, and found 'Marche' ( French acute accent over the 'e' as it is a French restaurant. I had my first lobster dish which was a lobster Crepe, delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, not many people in as such... More
