Our review isn't based soley on the food. It's based on the whole ideal of what the Maine lobster experience is. It was our first time in Maine and my first time enjoying lobster but my husband who has had it more insists that it was great. I wanted to have the "experience" and I was not disappointed. We picked... More

First off, we live in Kansas City, MO. Second, this place is great. We have been to Maine twice and we have eaten here four times during our trips. The drive out to CCLP is a nice scenic drive. The view from the tables is perfect. The fact that you can bring your own bottle of wine makes the meal.... More

During the last two years, we have been touring lobster pounds in Maine in early Oct.. This year we went to the worst pound at Chauncey Creek. It was served on a cold hamburger bun, with a small amount of lobster. I don't mind cold lobster, but I don't want a cold bun with too much mayo.

What a find!...it is off the beaten track so you may need your GPS, but it's worth the hunt. Great lobster right on the pier. The scenery matched the food and the service...

We enjoyed eating outside at the picnic tables next to the creek. The lobster roll and crab rolls were very good. A fair amount of meat in each one.

Our second visit in two years. It never gets old and it is always great. If you are willing to work for it you can enjoy some great, fresh lobster. You can even bring your own fine wine. Their sides are great too. Bring your own table cloth if you want one but they take very good care of you.... More

We were driving along the coast & saw a guy working on his MG in his driveway, & asked him where we should eat lunch. The location was beautiful & we shared a 2 & 1/2 lb lobster. It was delicious! Service was very attentive.

The seasonally open Chauncey Creek (open mother's day to Columbus Day) is a fun place to get lobster if you're in Kittery to shop at the outlets. They help with the expense by being BYOB, but they charge dearly for lobster. Two of us got each a 1.5 lb lobster, with a couple of sides each (the coleslaw is very... More

The trip to Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier was made with great anticipation. It was my first time in New England and I'd never had a lobster roll. This place was recommended. The setting is wonderful; an area with picnic tables, a sign to BYOB, and a beautiful New England day. I ordered at the window, lobster roll, baked beans and... More

A family member sent us here. Not sure we ever would have stumbled across it but glad we came. BYOB...always nice. But the lobsters are what it's really about. They were fabulous as were the steamers and the onion rings. We will definitely come back again. It's the best lobster pound this side of Portland.
