What's a trip to Maine without lobster !

On a recent 'quick trip' through New England we traveled on up as far up as time would allow. Somewhere between Portsmouth NH & Portland ME we opened up our 'Fodor's guide' to be directed to a genuine Lobster Pier in Kittery Pt. ME. that was as genuine & local as you can get ! Traveling along... read more

This is a bit out of the way, and hidden from the street, but there is plenty of parking. Then walk down the boardwalk to the river, pick a table under the shelter and order a lobster roll, you will not be sorry. One of the best I have ever tasted. Don't miss this on a summer trip to the... More

We visited on September 4th on the recommendation of a friend. The scenery is great, but I was not impressed with either the food or the prices. Over many many years of visiting Maine I believe I have developed a great taste for crustaceans. There are much better places for lobster. If you want a lobster roll without the view,... More

You bring your own appetizers and wine and beer together with dips or whatever you like. This restaurant on the waterside of a clean creek looks a little crude but does grow on one. The day we went was very cool and shower but the open air eating area was closed with see through curtains and was pleasantly heated. After... More

We went in October so it was a little cold but it didn't damped our experience. We sat outside the staff was so nice and told me how to go about eating my lobster. It was really fun! And the lobster so good!

Was visiting Lowell, Mass in early October with my wife and we decided to head up to Maine to get some real lobster after we thought the lobster prices at the Legal Harborside in Boston was too high. So I looked for the closest lobster places in Maine, and Chauncey Creek Pier came up as a recommended place by TripAdvisor... More

Enjoyed the ambience, which is very casual, and the setting. And of course the lobster. Parking can be a bit difficult since the place can get pretty crowded. Overall, a nice dining experience.

Always a great experience. We having been visiting for twenty years. On this visit we brought relatives from FL. The key is to BRING YOUR OWN! We bring lobster themed items, table cloth, place mats, metal trays, candles.

This place was listed on the Internet for best lobster rolls. The lobster meat was delicious, but was served on a hamburger bun. I am more partial to a buttered and grilled split hot dog bun myself. One in our party opted for a steamed (boiled) lobster. I wished I had done the same. It was a warm, sunny day... More

Great View, food was average, lobster roll was very expensive, and not much of it. I have never been served a lobster roll on a hamburger bun until I ate here. The staff was friendly and courteous. I was disappointed in the food here.
