Now named the Cajun Lobster

Not only is the name new, but there are also new managers - Andre' & Kelly. Chef Andre brings authentic Cajun cuisine to southern Maine. Kelly manages the service end of the business. Upstairs is a big friendly bar with live music one or more nights a week. Outside there is a small bar and picnic... read more

Being from Louisiana, we were intrigued by this newer restaurant highly recommended by some locals. Most "Cajun" restaurants know little about the real art of south Louisiana cooking and simply "blacken" something with too much cayenne pepper added. Not here. Andre' has brought his Louisiana acadian cooking skills to Maine and the results are terrific. As a bonus there is Texas... More

Passing through on our way to Gloucester, we anchored our sailboat off of the fort and looked for a restaurant we could dinghy to. We saw "Captain and Patty's" in Tripadvisor and thought we'd give it a try. We started out with drinks at the dock bar and were welcomed by the small group of locals who highly recommended the... New management and same great fresh seafood! Andre and Kelly have a hit here. Now called Cajun Lobster but not over spiced, just excellent flavors. My Halibut was so good it practically melted in my mouth. I savored every bite. Corn and crab bisque was Devine with a hint of sweetness. And the corn grits, even if you don't like... More

AKA Cajun Lobster - still the best views on the Seacoast. Lobsters and clams perfectly prepared but don't forget to try the ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The Cajun food is marvelous. Great and friendly staff

Monday July 21 2014.... the sign send Patio Open so we went there.....bright painted picnic tables looked very inviting but we're bar people so when we spied the small bar setup we sat there. Extremely nice server but for all those tables (by herself) she was set up to fail and when the cook(aka the owner) appeared he told her... More

Only outside dining was available, and the menu is all fried seafood except for a hamburger. We ordered a scallop and haddock basket with an order of onion rings to replace one of french frries. After an hour we asked waitress when our food was coming? She went to kitchen and brought back our orders. Seafood was almost hot, french... More

I knew that they had been undergoing some changes in the kitchen and so while we were out exploring the neighborhood with friends I was glad to see them open. I am partial to fish sandwiches so I had the Fried Haddock. It was one of the best I have ever had! Really. The predominate taste was fish. Not bun,... More

We got of the I-95 towards Kittery and drove thru' the township C& P's appeared and we went out on the Decking . The food was retro 70's with food in a basket. Quick tasty and well priced. They served Sam Adams beer , which is one of the better American brews. Nectar compared to Bud and Coors (Light?) Yuk... More
