They are generous with their samples. It would be nice if they had signs saying what the samples are, so the staff don't need to tell you each time. All the breads are fantastic, and the variety is stupendous.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at When Pigs Fly. The house salad and dressing were delicious. We shared a sopressata and date pizza on which was drizzled a spicy honey. This honey is available for purchase in the adjoining bakery which has an amazing array of artisan breads. This is a must visit when in the Kittery, Wells and Ogunquit... More

Have been coming here for 3 years for bread and the selection is huge. The bread is fresh, delicious and the prices are low. Favorites are the Macadama and the Soft Sourdough with the only weak entry being the New York Rye. On any given day, there are 20-25 varieties of bread available for sale and I have tried most... From pizza to sandwiches, everything is great and affordable. When you are done eating, stop next door to the bakery to sample breads and desserts.

Back for our annual visit to Maine and a stop at When Pigs Fly is a must. This time along with the bread we got one of the little Bread Pudding Cakes- they are only $3.00 if you get a loaf of bread. The staff here is always so friendly- just a great place to stop by.

I had just come from Robert's Maine Grill after having dinner and decided to stop into When Pigs Fly Bakery since I heard so much about their famous bread. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all the free samples of their various breads...... one more delicious than the next. This bread bakery is famous in Maine and it's... More

They have a wonderful selection of interesting breads including our favorite apple cinnamon. I'd give the bread an A+ but the cookies are just average.

On our way home from our friends' lake house we stopped for lunch. We were in the mood for pizza and I suggested When Pig's Fly b/c I knew they had brick oven pizzas.I had been before but only had a simple salad my first time. We ordered several apps to share and pizza. Everything was so delicious! My husband... More

What a fabulous bakery! Just too hard to choose from the huge selection of breads available. Sweet, savory, you name it, they have it here! We bought 3 loaves of bread, a jar of dry seasonings to mix with olive oil for dripping, and some great pretzels! We then headed over to the attached restaurant for one of the best... More
