Warren's Lobster House was established in 1940 as a 6 stool,walk-up clam and lobster shack. Over the past 70 years, we have expanded into what today is a 350 seat, full service, family owned and operated restaurant. We are located on the waterfront on the southern tip of the Maine coast. We offer great seafood, lobster, steak, chicken and other specialities with outstanding service in a comfortable and casual family atmosphere. We feature the "Seacoast's Finest Salad Bar" with over 60 fresh and tantalizing items. We also offer a "Kid's Menu", gift shop, seasonal outdoor deck, cocktail lounge and plenty of seating with ample parking. We also offer free seasonal valet parking for our guests. We are Handicap Accessible and open daily at 1130 am. Currently, there are 3 generations of the Cunningham family involved in the daily operation of this world renouned restaurant!

Decent seafood selection with great salad bar

Huge salad bar comes with most entrees. Great alternative if you have been eating fried everything with your Maine seafood. Lobster stuffed haddock was very good, plenty of lobster (breaded though) with your haddock. Brownie sundae was the best.

A must for any traveler in the area. Nice bar and great food. A seafood lover's home plate. The window tables look out over the water.

We eat at Warrens about once a month. Food and service are consistently good. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. We usually end up filling up on the salad bar and then have a lot of our entrée leftover to take home for another meal. Good family sort of place to eat, not an intimate romantic couples restaurant. Very... More

75th Year Anniversary - Can't personally celebrate all 75 of Warren's years but maybe half. The Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME area is a wonderful Metro Boston 1.5 hour drive day trip opportunity. Restaurant has easy access from Rte 95 or Rte 1 but a GPS is helpful for last mile on local Kittery roads. It is a larger air-conditioned restaurant noted... More

Okay, this place packs in lots of people, it's a tourist trap destination. The best thing on the menu is salad bar and perhaps steamed lobster and clams. Staff is fine but after seating hundreds of people it shows.

Stopped here with my Sister for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and scored a parking spot near the door which is highly unusual if you have ever been here as its always packed. The restaurants in a great location by the river and we sat out on the covered porch. Love smelling the salty air. We had lobster rangoon, which... More

We went all out at Sunday lunch (it is the dinner menu all day on Sunday, always has been) with steamers, chowder, lobsters and dessert. We understood the soft-shell of a newly molted lobster, so we expected the soft meat not filling the shells as well. (It is described on the menu clearly, so if you seek a harder shell and... More

Three of us visited for dinner after a day's worth of outlet shopping. Had called and was told there'd be about a 40 minute wait - no call ahead seating available. Given that is was a Saturday night, 40 minutes for a seafood restaurant seemed about right! It was crowded when we arrived and we were glad that valet service... More

This past Friday my husband and I and another couple dined at Warren's Lobster House. We each ordered lobster and Mussels for an appetizer. Instead of mussels we received clams. We explained that we ordered mussels, but informed the waitress that we would settle to save her the trouble of return and re-order. It than took almost one hr to... More

We apologize that our server made a mistake on the steamed clams versus steamed mussels. We would have gladly prepared an order of mussels to replace. It is not uncommon for a lobster dinner to take an hour if the party has an appetizer then goes to our salad bar on a busy Saturday night. At the conclusion of the... More

This 350-seat restaurant with its own lobster pound, situated on the Piscataqua River, looks like an old school New England seafood house. In fact, there was a sign up that they'd been in business for 75 years (since1940)! There were autographed pictures hanging of Carol Channing & Tim Conway, who'd both eaten there. We 1st were seated in a booth.... More
