Great food and friendly help

I eat here all the time. It is one of my goto spots. I have never had a bad meal here. They have constant specials and a great regular menu. I was down there on this last Friday, and had the Mahi Mahi. It was cooked perfectly. I can't say how many times I have had it at other places,... read more

Great spot to grab a sandwich and a local brew. It was pleasant. The burgers were unevenly cooked -but nicely presented. We really enjoy seeing Kittery come alive with so many good places to eat.

Happy people in the window, so we tried it. They add lobster broth to the mac and cheese so you cannot taste the cheese. The ribs must be cut and do not fall apart. The beer and fries are the highlights. Only one waitress for six tables, can't blame her for slow service. $75 for lunch drinks, appetizers and main... More

My wife and daughter and I went for dinner and got out of there for under $70 including an app and 2 drinks each. But what was impressive was the quality of the food - VERY good food for the price. The meatloaf was amazing. The staff are personable and seem happy to work there. Overall a great place.

My mom and I decided to have an early dinner yesterday and after being on my feet all day working, we decided to stick closeby. Wallingford Square has a lot of offer, and we chose Rudder's Public House after reading some reviews online. We were promptly greeted and took a seat in the corner. She went with a cup of... More

The menu here was quite extensive but since we are always looking for good seafood, we ordered lobster and scallops dinners. The food was well prepared and plentiful. They had a good choice of draught beers and although we couldn't possibly eat dessert, there were some yummy sounding choices. The patio would have offered a good view but it was... More

Located in the town of Kittery, this restaurant is away from the hustle and bustle of the outlet shops! Very good food, nice setting and reasonably priced. The pulled pork, burgers and baked beans are very good. Several specials are offered each day. Beer selection is good.

I've been here twice and on both occasions we spent most of our lunch swatting flies away. The food was good and seemed fresh. I also really enjoyed their homemade chips.

This bar featured fantastic bar staff, very friendly. Due to us being confused and messing up our order they gave us some free potato chips, what a bonus. The food was very good and was a good portion size. Only complaint would be they could do with a greater choice of sides. Didn't try the beer as I was driving... More

There are many good things about the Rudders. First, the lady bartenders, especially Laura, made you feel right at home. Even though it was our first time there, we felt like regulars. The fried fish was fresh and not greasy, and the pulled pork burger was delicious and a great portion. The food was fairly priced. The only week spot... More
