Great place for lunch and watching the game

Fun, casual atmosphere - great food and service. Always seems to be hopping - bar staff have all been very friendly each time I've been. Will definitely recommend.

Friendly wait staff Good selection of beers, food is prepared fresh. Good ribs and Fried Chicken. Nice outside deck for summer of fall days.

great burger bar w/the usual comfort foods, local following, great place to watch the Pats, especially like hanging outside in the enclosed "porch"

It's not rare to see uniformed service men and women in this eatery as it's steps away from the PNSY gate. A busy place. Great, informed service. Fantastic menu and food.

OK...we got a few "Brooklyns" that have entered the scene, but any place needs a "pub" kind of atmosphere. Long gone are the plethora of "dive bars" that existed all in and around Portsmouth and Kittery. While this is a bit sad to me, to be totally honest (the loss of some form of reality) the re-emergence of the "scene"... More

The family and I were meeting an old friend halfway between Portland and Boston and I found this place via Trip Advisor. It has a kids menu, but not the most kid-friendly place. The staff was very accommodating, though, and even brought out a high-top high chair. Love the atmosphere, but much more suited for small groups of adults. The... More

Feeling relaxed but still interested in great food and fun? The place is Rudders, the staff is just a band of angels and the food can change the mood and always to the better. Super clean, prompt service, traditional pub faves in a cool breezy place during the summer, and most likely, a warm, toasty refuge in the winter. Thanks... More

When you bite into a barbecue sandwich or burger you know instantly that this way better than regular bar food. Everything we've tried in multiple visits has been very good.

We had spent the day at the outlets in Kittery Maine, so by dinner time we were very hungry. All the local haunts were very busy with most having a 1 hour wait. We decided to drive a little away from the malls to see what was around. We found the little village of Kittery and noted the Rudder Public... More

Nothing spectacular, but a nice place to stop for a bite to eat. Watch out for the buffalo chicken salad, it is really spicy. It was too spicy for my wife but they were nice enuff to replace it at no charge.
