The best thing about Morrison's was the scenery. I was told it was casual, but the only thing we did not have to do ourselves was actually cook the food. The menu is very limited, I had the lobster roll, which was blah, very little taste. I've made better lobster salad myself. I also had the clam chowder, it was... More

Morrison's is no frills but great prices and lobster! On the side road on Badger Island between Portsmouth, NH and Kittery, Maine. All seating is outside. Worth hunting it down!

Mr. Morrison has passed but we understand that his wife is carrying on the legacy. This is No Frills in all caps. But that's the beauty of it. If you like Maine lobster and want to Bring Your Own everything else, this is the place. Sit in the sunshine on the dock, or maybe the rain, and enjoy.

We ordered lobster dinner. What should've been explained beforehand was that when you said at a table there is a "set up fee" for each person at your table. As a local resident I was offended when I read this on very tiny print on there menu, after I had ordered. In 12 years living along the coast, I've never... More

Morrison’s is one of those great lobster shacks on a dock that goes largely undiscovered because of its almost-hidden location on Badger’s Island. If the sign weren’t there, one would drive right past it without a clue that a small restaurant was there because all one sees from the street is the driveway and the house. The restaurant is over... We have a summer home in the area and eat out often. This is by far our favorite restaurant. If you like lobster and steamers, want a fantastic view of downtown Portsmouth and a non-pretentious atmosphere, this place is for you. What it is: The best lobster and the best steamers on the seacoast. BYOB (lots of people also bring... More

Having visited several lobster pounds...and pools on this trip to New England, and having visited Morrison's in the past, I must say they are the best! Great scenery and excellent lobster, steamers, and clam chowder. The steamers were perfect...no need to dip them in broth to clean. The lobster was superb. The best is the scenery. Seating is at patio... More

I love Morrison's! I live in Boston and go to Portsmouth/Kittery at least a couple times a year, just to go to Morrison's. It's not fancy, but it's very laid back setting to eat great lobster and enjoy the outdoors. I also love the fact that it's BYOB - makes for the most affordable lobster dinner you could hope for.

I have been to Morrison's several times and have been more than satisfied each time. Morrison's is not really a restaurant but rather a lobster pound who will cook up and serve your lobster for you at tables on the dock looking out to Portsmouth Harbor. Over time they have added steamers (the freshest and sweetest I have ever eaten),... More

After reading the reviews, that was my choice for lobster destination....the view is beautiful. That is it. First you get charged a $3.50/person fee for them to cook you lobster (for me this is a sitting down fee). And the tip is mandatory, that would be okay if the service was decent. The menu was confusing, I ordered a 1/2... More
