I was very excited to get pizza at this location, after years of purchasing their delicious specialty breads in the Kittery and Freeport locations, as well as reading the great magazine reviews recently. My family and I have travelled to many wood-fired pizza restaurants, including Flatbread in Portsmouth/ North Conway, so we know and love the unique cooking experience wood-fired... More

Yes, a little pricey for a medium sized pizza. We ordered the margarita at $13, the pulled pork and Italian sausage , both at $18 The dough was just right (wood oven) served hot and toppings were fresh The four of us shared 3 pizzas and were very satisfied. Unfortunately the bakery was closed, we arrived very late, but had... More

Driving north on Route 1 from Kittery, Maine you will find a great pizza restaurant and bread bakery unlike anything you've seen before. The pizza menu is extensive with combinations not usually found. We had the pulled pork & chili and it was delicious. There is only one size with 6 generous slices, so it easily feeds two people. Generous... More

Had mussels, brussel sprouts and pizza, all excellent. Huge selection of artisan beers. It's up past all the outlets so you have to look for it but worth the trip.

We've eaten here numerous times but this last visit was different. In the summer we love to sit on their outdoor deck where it is quiet, but they have closed it in and the acoustics are terrible there as well. They always had a grilled cheese on their menu but refused to fix one this time. Replacement sandwich was not... More

We ate dinner here after visiting the bakery next door. We were looking for something a little different after almost two weeks of great Maine lobster and seafood! We had a huge salad and one of the best artisan pizzas ever. They have a big selection of beers too. Would go back again!!

We were in desperate need for dinner and happened upon this restaurant. It appeared to be a very popular place with a full parking lot late into the dinner hour. However, it turned out to be quite a disappointment. After the waitress took our drink order, we had to wait quite a while to actually get our drinks because there... More

This is a one time experience kind of place. An overpriced novelty type place at best. Pizza's are medium sized and run about $18 each. The large beer came in the pigs fly glass that I believe is 12oz or smaller. The charge was $7. Unfortunately, I did not specify when I ordered as the waitress was less than friendly... More

At When Pigs Fly our Pizza's are 13 inches we only used the freshest all natural ingredients. We source as many ingredients from local vendors and will not compromise quality for price. A Margherita pizza starts at $13 and increases with the number of items you add to it. As for the beer , we serve a lot of hard... More

Really interesting place with amazing bakery attached. Restaurant menu is limited and may be bait to eclectic for some. Waitress was unattentive and a bit lost, fortunately the management was spot on and rescued her. Be sure to see if everyone in your party is good with the menu
