Hello SightseeingMom, Thank you for stopping in and trying out The Firefly Diner. We're glad you enjoyed the veggies on your omelette. All our vegetables are fresh cut and from Golden Harvest. At the diner, we like to promote an atmosphere that allows you to take a breath, relax, and enjoy your meal. We're sorry if the food took longer... More

This is a hidden gem. The breakfasts are great and reasonably priced. I had the Fire Fly wrap and it was the best! Love coming here when we visit Maine.

The potato chunk homefries here are perfectly moist, tender, exactly browned and non-oily, chewy or tasteless. Omelets are very fluffy and light, with a quality cheese that made each component able to be tasted and the homemade cinnamon toast was worth ordering, if quite pricey (just 2 slices cost nearly $6!). Hot chocolate was average, but the potatoes were a... More

Silly little diner with amazing food. Stopped in for breakfast, came back again for lunch. Eggs Benny-Awesome...Rueben -the best. Kitchen is a little slow at times but the food and service make it all okay :) Love Stephanie...she has served us 2 out of our 3 visits. Wonderful value, pleasant service and really good food, don't let the appearance fool... More

Another great find. Unfortunately most people will take one quick look and quickly drive by this older strip mall hole in the wall restaurant. Definitely a good breakfast place that takes the edge off the usually abrupt courtesy breakfast hotel fair. Here is where the townies and old folks come to eat with good reason. The eggs were really fresh... More

Enjoyed the food but the wait for a simple breakfast was over 50 minutes from the time we were served coffee, staff pleasant but overworked. Not enough staff or cooks to be efficient. Would not go again.

We came in at 10:00 on a Sunday monring before heading back home to New York. We were told that they were short a person outback so there may be a small delay in food; no problem. We were given coffee and our order was taken. We sat waiting for our food for over an hour and not once did... More

This was our second try here...nothing fancy...large dining room table in the middle for 6...sit anywhere but open tables were not cleaned off. Simple order...eggs and bacon, eggs and sausage. one order of home fries (husband said potatoes were frozen style). Sausage was brown and serve and charge for 3 was $2.70...really? 90 cents for one link of brown and... More

We stopped by this diner before embarking on a fun day of shopping at the nearby outlets. I was skeptical because the place doesnt look well put together, furniture needs updating and well it seems like a hole in the wall kind of place. Boy was I wrong! The food was great and the best part was the very friendly... More
