Great Mountain Eating

Its the Loaf! Good food, warm atmosphere, great people, reasonable prices. Its not flashy, its Maine. Its not Vail, its the Loaf. Relax, enjoy, have a beer or 4 and the rest will just happen

Wonderful service, attentive, quick, even on a busy weekend. Food was delicious, hot and fast. Great ski crowd hangout as well.

Being a longtime Sugarloafer (35 years), it's been rather sad to see the decline of Gepetto's. The restaurant was sold to the mountain a few years ago and sadly, has not matched the quality of food that had become the norm. We've tried eating there a few times during the past season hoping that there was going to be a... More

My friends and family have stopped at Gepetto's for lunch pretty much exclusively when we ski at Sugarloaf. So convenient, good drinks, friendly staff, great food. You can sit at the bar or if it's available, the bright, sunny atrium, with plants and a gas fire. The only disadvantage is the rest rooms are down a narrow and somewhat steep... More

We love the brick oven pizza. They have an arcade downstairs which the kids love to play at. Good food and great service.

A friend and I stopped in after a day of skiing to grab a bite. Crispy, delicious chicken tenders with honey mustard dipping sauce and French fries for $10.00 (pretty affordable in relation to some on-mountain restaurants!). My cocktail was tasty, too! We sat at the bar: friendly patrons, friendly bartender, friendly atmosphere, free popcorn, various TVs to watch if... More

Six of us (4 adults, 2 kids) went here while staying at Sugarloaf ski resort. It beat lots of meals I've had at other ski resorts, that's for sure. We had a drink at the bar while we waited for a table to be ready. The bartenders were nice -- laid back and friendly, including to the kids. We were... More

We had a group of 14 (all ages) dine here one night and we were well taken care of. Our waitress was sweet and did a great job handling our crazy crew. The atmosphere was fun: a few TVs going with ESPN and a nice vibe throughout. There is a little arcade downstairs, but please beware, the stairs are steep!... More

Gepettos filled the bill for us while stopped over in Maine at the Nestlewood Inn, just down the road. Thin crust pizza, good beer and local stories, plus the awesome scenery at Sugarloaf made for a memorable evening. Must be a blast in the winter!
