On a recent trip we had a late lunch at this restaurant and we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We sat outside on the deck and there was a decent view of the water. The food was outstanding, my wife had the lobster tacos and she still talks about them months later!

On a recent weekend stay at a quaint Kennebunkport bed and breakfast, my wife and I received a recommendation for dinner at Stripers. The menu we were shown at our inn seemed quite reasonable in comparison to some of the other neighborhood restaurants. Unfortunately, prices were quite different when we arrived at the restaurant. We began with two salads. I... More

A botched dinner reservation at our hotel ended with dinner at Stripers. Our concern over the unknown quickly disappeared. Wonderful atmosphere. Good service. Interesting menu. Our food was delicious and prepared well. Good wine list.

Watch the boats sail by, see the ocean in the distance, watch the large aquarium in the bar, but come for the service and food. Wonderful staff that took care of us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. You can always spot great service when the staff does not point you in the direction of the... More

This is our plan: we order our take out lobsters from Port Lobster across the street and about an hour before pick up, we head to Stripers for a cocktail and watch the sunset. GORGEOUS!

Went to the Clambake with friends last night. I didn't have any clams, but everyone said they were great. I had the lobster which was baked alongside the clams and it was perfect. The service was great, the staff are very friendly. The view from the restaurant and bar is beautiful, it's one of the best views in Kennebunkport. This... More

The clam chowder and local oysters, that we had for lunch, were lovely. The view was amazing and the staff was very friendly. We loved it and recommend it as you are away from the fray.

If you're visiting the Kennebunkport area this is a restaurant to avoid. We were there last weekend for a less than memorable dining experience. Maine lobster is inexpensive however at this restaurant a 2 lb. lobster is $ 56. So we passed and tried the lobster and mushroom soup. A bad choice on our part. It was awful. The Boulibasse was... This is a really good restaurant if you can overlook slow and not very personable service. We had the seared scallops, the swordfish and the salted brownie with ice cream. It was really delicious and the ambiance is very nice. We would return and cross our fingers to get better service without having to ask for it.

This was one of the most disappointing meals of our two week Maine vacation. The bread was so salty it was inedible. Granted the waitress replaced it when we pointed this out. Prefering plain, straightforward food we both ordered roast chicken, with roast potatoes and grilled asparagus. We waited 50 minutes for 2 "roast" legs and thighs of chicken (what... More
