Enjoyed our early dinner of lobster and local brew beer. Gets busy later in the evening, so I suggest you make reservations.

This is a quaint little place just off Ocean Ave. almost to the Bush property. Food was fantastic, all home cooked Lobster and seafood, great presentation and wonderful taste. You get a real sense of community and the staff will treat you like family. Mabels has a lot of cool history and the deco gives you a lot to look... More

My wife and I were visiting for her cousins wedding and were told by her cousin and other local family to try Mabels. We made a reservation and went. My wife ordered a lobster roll and I got the shore dinner. My wife wanted onion rings instead of fried but they don't allow substitutions. We got an order of onion... More

We had read all of the great reviews and figured we would give it a try.. All we have to say is very over rated! The restaurant is tiny and quaint, we had no idea that reservations were pretty much required so after a fight to try to find a place to park (there is limited street parking) we went... More

We stopped here for lunch after a full morning on the motorcycles. My husband and son both had a lobster roll and enjoyed them very much. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. We loved the outside porch seating and the service was fine. Good LORD, the blueberry pie was the absolutely wonderful....I seriously wanted to lick the... More

Delicious onion soup and lobster roll with big chunks of tasty and fresh lobster. Its not in the area where many of the restaurants are but its worth the short detour. The staff was very friendly. We went to eat around 3pm and there were very few people. You might want to consider this as I saw it was packed... More

Went here after many recommendations on the web and trip advisor - and it is a Bush family favorite. They take reservations and the stuffed lobster dinner was great - we had the 2 pounders stuff with shrimp and it was huge! Blueberry pie was excellent as well. Really nice service....

5 Families stayed up in Wells, ME. this past week and we decided that we would go to Mabel's for an early dinner. 7 of us drove up from Wells to Kennebunkport and were seated right away inside to get away from the humid weather. In fact we were seated next to President Bush's booth in the corner. 5 out... More

Enjoyed a good lunch, sitting at the outdoor cafe. I had the fried haddock sandwich, hubby had the grilled crabmeat sandwich. Both served with shoestring fries. Very enjoyable! Good service. A little pricy for lunch but a nice break from the very busy Kennebunkport tourist area.

Four of us ate here on a rainy 3rd of July evening. Although we have been coming to Maine for 25 years, this was our first experience at Mable's. It is truly a family run type of restaurant. Parking was a little tricky but once I was informed of the parking options, I am sure that will not be an... More
