We had lunch here when we passed through the area. We are from the southwest and "lobster rolls" were new to us and we were very anxious to try them! We both had the lobster roll with fries and cole slaw. We were both a bit disappointed in the lobster rolls - guess we weren't sure what to expect. We... More

Visited Mabel's during a one night visit to Kenneybunkport. The restaurant is small and very busy, so get there early or make reservations. The atmosphere is very informal. Food is very good. I really enjoyed to "Duke", baked fish, mussels, lobster, and shrimp.

This was our third or fourth visit to Mabel's. On one visit, George and Barbara Bush came by but this time we were all just plain folks. Lobster rolls are superior and the chicken caesar salad delicious. Service was good and the wait staff friendly but I do think the restaurant as a whole is somewhat over rated due to... More

The lobster rolls were very good, just a hint of mayo. The Bush's did not stop by that day, but it was still fun.

We stopped for lunch after hearing it was one of the Bushs favorites, I can see why, the food is delicious. This was the first lobster roll I had ever had and it did not disappoint. Huge chunks of lobster with a light sauce. My friend ordered the lobster risotto which was also delicious. I would definitely go back.

Sought out Mabel's after a recommendation from a local shop owner. Lobster aficionados delight! Sought out a great lobster roll and got it. Huge chunks of fresh lobster meat . I guessed it to be two claws and a tail from a good sized chicken lobster. No mayo no celery or paprika just honest to goodness pieces of lobster oozing... More

Lobsters reign, but I had the Duke, Baked Seafood full of favor... and the house salad dressing, Creamy Horseradish, is great for salads and dipping.
