It's just a Lobster Hut that serves the best Lobsters. Inside benches and bare wood tables. Efficient service. A must try while in Kennybunkport.
Let me start by saying this was the best dinner we had! Our server Sarah was wonderful. The food was amazing. . Fresh tasty well prepared. .. the clam chowder was wonderful. . Hearty, creamy full of clams and the potatoes were cut the same size as the clams. . .had the lobster roll, steak and twin lobsters.. all excellent.... More
Lobster was excellent! Service was okay. Location is remote. Atmosphere was eclectic - really liked it. Very casual (picnic tables). They only take cash, no credit cards, but they do have an ATM.
What a neat little place! Great staff, fantastic lobster and good atmosphere. Cash only....we very much enjoyed eating here and we will will definitely be back!!!
We had about the reviews here and drove passed it one day to see what it looked like from the outside. The minute I saw it I said no way - it looks like a dump. After much discussion later we went for for dinner and WOW - it was the best meal of the the trip. Friendly waiters, the... More
At the advice of a local, we came here for our lobster. We were not disappointed. This place is a couple miles out of town and off the beaten path and it is a hut but well worth the trip. The lobsters were tender and cooked just right. Use the bib and the handy sinks placed right in the dining... More
The last stop on our way home from 4 days in Kennebunkport area . Got a lobster roll to go. It was smaller than others in the area but almost 1/2 the price so if you need a quick fix for $12.95 on a roll this is it . It did have a bit of mayo and paprika which is... More
We visited this place on our last night in Maine. Just what we needed. A lobster only shack. Rustic with picnic type tables. My wife and I got the special, two one and one quarter Lb lobsters for $28.95. They were great although just a tad overcooked. Place was full and everybody seemed happy. Best blueberry pie I've ever had.... More
We found the place in the list of the the 5 Maine's best lobster pounds in the Lonely Planet guidebook. As our family of 4 presented ourselve to the reception for dinner, we were told that we'd have to wait outside, although the place seemed quite empty and the 3 tables in front of the reception were vacant. So we... More
We had bland clam chowder, lobster stew (just okay, nothing special) and boiled lobster. The lobster was very good, except for the tails - tough, chewy and yucky. The address for this place is wrong. It is located in Cape Porpoise and is not easy to find. Our GPS lead us to an empty lot in Kennebunkport, so call ahead... More
