Decided to try Tides out after a recommendation from a friend. Their hot buttered lobster roll was fantastic and not something you see often on a menu. Plate came full of hot French fries which were great. The cole slaw was absolutely tasteless and the sirens call was good but very weak. The Bloody Mary was great and made up... More

We did not stay at this hotel, we stayed at Hidden Pond which is a sister property up the road. We have eaten here on a few occasions now and have to say that the service only gets better. We had the best waitress during this visit and the food was exceptional. I had the tuna appetizer and my husband... More

By far, the roasted lobster is still the best thing on the menu (as long as you like lobster)! My husband and I both had it and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My daughter's fish on her fish and chips plate was not hot, so the fries were soggy. My other daughter loved the bacon cheese burger. FYI - warn your... More

I didn't stay in this hotel as we rented a private home nearby. We chose to walk down for a nice dinner last night and it was a delight! We went as a couple, but there were children present and the restaurant seems able to handle children as well as adult couples. The Corn and Clam chowder is a DREAM.... More

My husband and I ate here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner - while staying at the sister property Hidden Pond. The meals are pricey, but not as high as those at Earth at Hidden Pond. For lunch we had the home roasted turkey sandwich which was very good. For dinner I had a scallop and lobster... More

We enjoyed our dinner at the Tides very much. Food was good and chef very accommodating in altering menu for our taste. Loved the decoration. Biggest and most comfortable dinning chairs ever.

Tides is one of my favorite places to eat whenever I visit Maine. Their take on lobster rolls is well executed and a terrific snack break from lounging on the adjacent Goose Rocks Beach. That said, if you are planning a meal at Tides, especially of the romantic ilk, your best bet is a rezzie for dinner. The meal, although... More

We were delighted to see how filling and delicious the continental breakfast was: Creamy greek yogurt with fresh Maine blueberries and warm just out of the oven homemade granola, along with piping hot coffee and choice of juice. Wait staff are from local colleges and are super happy and friendly. There were more choices for breakfast, but I loved this... More

My husband and I had dinner here last week to celebrate our anniversary. Many restaurants in this area only open for the summer, so they had just opened 2 days prior. I had indicated that it was our anniversary, and we were showed to a secluded table by a big bay window with comfy chairs. Our waitress brought over complimentary... More

Great food. Tables a bit too close if you want a romantic dinner for two but was struck with the lovely ambiance, the lighting us amazing Wonderful surroundings light airy and clean. The food is awesome, best oysters and scallops in Maine. You won't go home disappointed or hungry! Try it!
